Hey congratulations my brother I’m just as excited as you as I put a down payment on the same exact pistol at my local FFL! I literally couldn’t believe where I live here in Pennsylvania my local gun shop is literally the only one that stocks staccato! When I spoke to them on the phone they only had the xc So I figured I would drive over and take a look at it in person. When I got there I saw staccato P but It didn’t look like it was red dot ready. I must be the luckiest person ever because they had the one that I needed behind the counter and I immediately jumped on it once I saw it in person! I can only say to your viewers unless you MYST see this gun in person there’s nothing that comes close to it!! I’m definitely a 1911 fan so i may be a little biased but the way it looks and the Craftsmanship is unmatchable!! I found out that the Delta Pro is the only red dot that’ll actually mount directly to the gun without one of those plates. The gun was supposedly actually designed for the Delta Pro itself. I just got the new holosun Vulcan recticle But I may lean towards that Delta pro if it’s a better fit on the gun! I also would prefer a rmr but the plate is just so big and bulky! Can’t wait to pick mine up! let me know what you end up mounting and if you have any troubles with the plates for the red dot! Looking forward to some of that range review

I have the Staccatto P. DPO , and I have a NightHawk Shadowhawk commander that is in its DLC finish phaze, i havent shot either yet; im away at work for long periods; but ill bet other than capacity and caliber, the NH can hold its own against the Staccatto?

@@TheBandit59 absolutely!! I actually just sold the p and bought the XC a few weeks ago!! When you shoot that p you will never go back! I Couldn’t justify spending the extra 2k on the XC until I shot the P dpo. Instantly i new it was worth every penny!! I’d Love to see that night hawk!!

@@GSUnit21 i could have gotten the xc, they just got three in, but i thought the trigger was too light for carry?i remember, in the 80's early 90's my department switched to semiautos, and there was a rash of AD's from officers switching to Glocks for the first time ? In high stress situations youd be surprised how much tension goes to the trigger , and you heart is beating like a jack hammer, and you really dont realize it? Especially when your used to long double action pulls?

If you are going to use it as a duty/Armageddon pistol then I recommend holosun 509t. If you are going to use it for accuracy/range toy then SRO.

I got the LED Trijicon type two RMR, and i have used it once , and I havent been home since? I go Trijicon on everything and is hasnt dissapoited yet; from The marine corps to the police department ; now retired?The RMR; I think is the 3 or 3..25 or so; i was kind of hurting , and was sitting in a chair, and popped off a few mags on my 509 tactical; and boy , that RMR is like cheating my groups were so tight at 25 yards?I had a bug credit at a shop, and ended up ordering the Staccatto P DPO, , with the Optics plate for the trijicon, but i have not shot it yet, its at home in the safe?

I've shot every Holosun (handgun) optic and the RMR and SRO. I personally prefer the Holosuns over the Trijicons for their side loading battery tray and more affordable price. My Staccato P DPO is arriving at my FFL on Tuesday, and I have a Holosun 507c x2 waiting for it. C&H Precision sells an optic plate for it. Congratulations and good luck!

Why would you spend 2500 on a pistol then put a cheap optic on it? the Holosun isnt a quality optic no matter what way you cut it. With optics you get what you pay for 100% of the time and the RMR hands down is a better optic. The fact that the battery loads on the side is also another non issue considering the battery life on the RMR. I have one on my duty weapon and I change it every new years eve regardless how much life is left in the battery. And for ones i do not carry daily they have lasted years. So is it a bad thing once a year or more you take off your RMR clean it put a new battery in it and re zero it? which you should do anyways? just my 2 cents... thats like buying a mansion and putting in plastic furniture and paper plates...

My opinion, however, is based on first hand experience over numerous years, several training courses, tens of thousands of rounds, as well as extensive research on the subject of pistol mounted optics. I've never seen, nor experienced, a single issue with Holosun optics. Check out Sage Dynamics' website for the most comprehensive resource on the matter. What experience are you basing your statement on?

@@C.A.K.92 12 years in special ops in the military where we used and tested multiple weapon systems and 8 years on a police SRT team. with that said millions of rounds down range and many thousands at live targets .Our department tested the holosun and didnt go with it. I wasnt involved in the testing of the optic first hand but it did not hold up to the standard we require. Im not saying your experience is wrong or it doesnt work for what your doing with it it could. I was just stating if your going to spend that much on a pistol why would you not get the best optic you can get for it??? And as of now the RMR is the best pistol optic you can buy. No will this person ever get to use it as the military or law enforcement would ? probably not but if your going to spend that much whats another 600 bucks??

@@Bo24Yfz Thank you for your service. My only experience is LE, and the Holosun has served its purpose well in that capacity for me and my department. I would never argue that the RMR is an inferior optic, as it has been the forerunner in its field for many years. I do, however, think there are people who claim the RMR is the only serviceable handgun optic when that is oftentimes not the case. It is the most rugged optic, and I understand why it would be the only optic considered for use by the military or from someone with a military background. I respect and appreciate your training and experience, both of which appear to exceed mine, but would encourage you to get first hand experience with a Holosun optic before you discredit the brand entirely. I honestly think you would be pleasantly surprised. Thank you for your respectful and thoughtful replies.

I'm currently running an rmr on mine. Going to be switching it out for either a 509T or the ACRO P2. It's my edc with a X300 will be switching it out when the new modlite drops SoOn. So that might drive me to the 509T
