I just got the road legal version. I didn’t want risk getting 6 points as I live in london and want to use it to commute. Will be doing by cbt in august and will be putting up some videos soon.

Sur-ron's have a ton of mods now and can unlock a HUGE amount of power, with a 72v battery and BAC4000 controller you can hit 80mph. First thing you should do is get metallic brake pads as the resin ones don't last long at all, also super easy to remove limiter to go from 30mph max to 44mph in stock form. Kaniwaba make a better pedal kit than Sur-ron's which puts them further forward and they sell short cranks too so you clip pedals less :), try droppin rebound on dampers to make bunny hops and wheelies easier.

I’m saving up for one. Would you say it would throw you off the bike if you pinned it from a stop ? Also what top speed did you get out of it ?

It wouldn't in the slow mode but in the fast mode it can throw you off no problem so you've got to be gentle at first and it will do about 50mph

It's not quite as smooth as a clutch if you are just edging forward but for normal riding it's perfectly fine and the acceleration is amazing

If it's something you want to use just to get to places I'd recommend a car but if you want something to mess around on and have fun I'd definitely recommend this

It all depends how you ride it really if you are careful I've heard you can get about 60 miles but if you are riding hard you'd probably get it down to about 20 miles

It depends where you are from because in America you can get one brand new quite cheap but in the UK they are hard to get brand new. I found the best place to look is Facebook marketplace where you can find used ones for around £3500/£4000
