When I see T700 riders I see happy pilots - that motor is as good as it gets in this capacity. Glorious and just defies you not to pin that throttle on and off road, followed by much wheel spin, dust and that gorgeous bark when angered!

I agree it's a knock-off exhaust, but for the record the Akra carbon system I have on my 2014 FZ09 has a screw under a rubber plug so you can remove the db killer if you want
@c2protect5 ай бұрын
That's one of the best exhaust systems you can get. It's screwed in and not riveted for replacement purposes and competition. You don't carry a rivet gun as much as a screw driver or wrench.

Shortlisted on one of these (no pun intended) but having a 29" inside leg, I couldn't be arsed dicking about on tip toes or on one leg when stationary, plus my achillies tendons aren't what they used to be either. Looking at the new GS 900 now, about a 40 mm lower with optional seat.

I had no idea there was any demand for the T7. All of our local dealerships sell them for under MSRP because they just sit on the showroom for months.

no quick shifter or cruise control. How do you think you'll do touring with it? I'm curious about these mid weight adv bikes. I'm a harley rider so I have 0 experience with this genre. Really want to try it but not sure just yet. All I want to do is day trips and local "road" riding with interstate speed here and there.
@AdventureTomek5 ай бұрын
Well, I really cannot tell you if you will enjoy them coming from a Harley. Completing different bikes. This one in particular I find very enjoyable, easy to ride, very manageable off road. Now for longer trips, I’m really not sure yet. Yamaha host demo days, they even showed up to Sturgis and had T7’s to demo. Find one you can test out!
