Buying a car online is a lot of fun, and a bit scary. I did it a few months ago during lockdown. Granted it wasn't a Tesla, just a used Jaguar, but I can definitely understand Justine's emotions here, it's like: "Oh shit, I just bought a car online!" Mine was delivered to my door on the back of a truck at 7:30 am the next morning. Buying online is definitely an improvement over having to deal with a dealer who's trying to sell you the car he want to get rid of the most..

Question, what did the referral code do for you when you used your friends referral code? Cuz when I just recently talked to Tesla they said they were no longer doing referral codes to get the additional thousand extra miles for charging for you and the persons referral code you used because they said Tesla is now an established company for their cars. They did say the only thing you can use a referral code for is for the Tesla power wall and that's it.

Thats what happens when you go online and find a delivery millage car in your desired spec at your local dealership. You can literally walk in and buy it there and then in a few mins as we've seen.

@@jaeeboom It was probably the deposit and sorted the rest at the dealership. My old man had a similar experience to this he was in the market for a new car. Hed been on the mercedes configurator that morning round 10am built a car then called our local mercedes dealer about 12pm and said i want a glc250d amg and the dealer said what spec are you after because i have a couple in stock we might not need to put an order in and my dad told them i want a dark blue exterior black interior with the premium plus pack and the dealer went ive got that car in blue black inside premium plus pack car in stock with delivery millage 33 miles on the clock. He went to mercedes at 2pm saw it, test drove it, sorted the funding and part exchanging his audi q3 and few hours later came home in the mercedes.
