Great job! Huge improvement on the sound after the fix. I've never actually seen one of these switched on in person! Is the flashing as apparent IRL or is it down to the framerate on the camera you're using?

The camera. It's really smooth in real life. You dont really get to see how the shapes are drawn when watching it played back on an LCD. Not much I can do about that though :-(

Nice! I've never played on a Vectrex (playing Asteroids at college in 87 is the most I've played on a vector display). A Vectrex inspired demo won the Revision 2020 demo party at the weekend if you didn't see it. It's Paul BTW. Iain's Brother. Hi.

Having heard about the Vectrex but never having seen one, this video brilliantly shows off the tech for all its achievements but also shows how to improve upon the issues you've showcased (if they are experiencing them). Interesting, engaging and leaves me wanting more! Can't wait for what you discuss next.

MB took over from GCE so I'm guessing the didnt change the internals at all? I'm just learning about this system so is there something there that's unusual?

Great video! Glad you're having fun with your Vectrex. Minestorm II is the bug fix release of Minestorm. The built in version crashes after the last level 13.
