Plenty of .300 Rook cases available. Try Bertram Brass in Australia. I love rook rifles and have had ones made by Cogswell and Harrison, Churchill, Jeffery to name a few. They are delightful to use and excellent for small game. Hope you enjoy yours. Cheers from The Dingoes.

These rook and rabbit rifles are very nice, the cases are available and you can buy cast projectiles, but obviously you have problems shooting this in UK unless it is put on your ticket, most of these were made by Webley, even the Holland & Holland rook rifles, but it is nice to see it was retailed through a company so close to you. Reckon mines almost identical. Only its resleeved for 22LR. Far more practical.

Most likely the marking of the gun was a retailers mark. Often the big makers would manufacture and leave blank for local gunsmiths to add to or mark as their own for retail. You can look up the maker in census records from the time to find more info and cross reference with trade directories if you’re interested
