As an OG BB viewer, I've seen you go from pretty much nothin to the fleet you have now. The sheer fact that you can afford the Tesla is testiment to what you've managed to achieve in such a short time!! With regards to the Plaid though, you need to get the Fuel-Tech partnership onboard and strip it out to be the worlds fastest Plaid, you've got the worlds fastest other cars, why not this one! 😛😛 We're all gearheads at heart, it doesn't matter what the gear is, if it moves and goes stupid fast it counts. If you stick with EV or decide to gut it to ally frame and fully K swap it, it'll still be great viewing.

Strap a Honda generator to the back of it n it'll fit right in with the group lol Tbh it doesn't look that bad. New trunk lid, bumper, and bumper cover you could probably get it looking pretty good. I'm sure it probably tweaked the frame some but with some pulling, beating and banging to get the rear latch to line up I think you'd hardly notice anything. Mainly because a new rear bumper would hide the damage.

Initially I was thinking dropping the drive train and (some of) the battery pack into a Civic or some-such, but it looks like it's going to be possible to make it like new, without breaking the bank (any more). Something like a "K" swap, as some suggest, would be daft - a heck of a lot of work for a slower car! What could work would be stripping the interior, fitting a full cage, and just having a couple of lightweight seats - it's a heavy car, but anything would be a help.

Don't worry about the panels being removed in the rear. The body shop it was taken to for insurance appraisal had to remove them to see the structure damage. What you can see is what they used to deem it as a loss.

Oh easy, that thing has way more torque than this, this has 1050 pounds, but I calculated how much torque the Bugatti Veyron (Edit: I forgot to mention its the GS Vitesse) has when launching and it makes far more in 1st (1100 x 3.18 first gear x 3.64 final drive = 12732 ironically this is why gas will never be beat in towing by single-speed electrics). The only reason electric feels and is in fact so fast to accelerate unburdened is because there's no shift delays, although these days with the tech that makes the Jesko gearbox work gas cars can accelerate bloody quick, so its unfortunate that most are pushing for all-electric when there's no rush and in fact when rushing will wreck the power grid. Anyways, the Plaid is still a cool car, that fact won't change, but nor would the fact that Wyatt's truck is insanely awesome and fast.

hell yea im excited. i think you should just fix the back end and make it a new racce car lol. would be cool for drag and drives rip out the interior and make it as light as possible.
