WIthout watching this vid I am confident in saying this vid is just a pluginboutique promotion - I dont think you spent a single dollar. So.. if you get plugins for free from PB because you promote PB in the process.. THAT is PAID advertising.

Mishby and Dumpster Fire are straight up nuts. Crystalline doesn't reinvent the wheel but actually combines every useful function for reverbs in one plugin and let's you sync everything to your project bpm. Dacci Pucci made a really good video on it.

Mishby goes good for effects on buildups and the other plugin they have free , Backmask I guess I also very good. Oh, and free if you take a look on the official webpage.

algorithmic reverb just means that it's neither a convolution-based one nor some classic emulation like spring reverb etc. they usually consist of parallel and series chains of allpass filters, delays, vibratos and stuff like that. cool video btw! good overview
@Mad_Speed2 жыл бұрын
I have a preset of Dumpster Fire used to smudge drums. Set the 3 main knobs to maximum (all the way right) and the 2 in the top right to the minimum (left). Use multiple effect chains to use it in parallel and you have a beautiful smudged drum sound. I find it works best 13dB quieter than the dry signal.

I love the crystallizer plug-in mostly for its cavernous quality and the fact that it has a reverb freeze feature that is easily automated in a mix. I’m sure it’s not the only one, but I’ve really been enjoying it
@DJayFreeDoo Жыл бұрын
I also use that reverb. but i have to gripes with it. the delay in larger room sizes and that you can't make long enough reverb tails without using the freeze button. so when i need longer reverbs i have to use another plugin instead.

Trackspacer does have options to control the attack and release in its advanced panel (click the little dot on right of spectrum analyzer), which will shape the envelope of the ducking. The hi and low pass can narrow in your sidechaining to a very specific band as well since they are just removing that bandwidth from detection. Trackspacer is limited this way by design to make it quick to operate. I use it constantly and will switch to other options if I need to get more surgical with things :)

Ya, Trackspacer does have some of those functions hahaha. You also missed the smoothing function in Crystalline and that's hard to do hahaha. It's right on the front panel and it's called....... "Smoothing"!!!!!! Also, you say you couldn't get a 2-second reverb out of it? Did you try the end slider? Hmmmmmmmmm........ I don't know man, that's a bit fishy. This is all simple stuff, I'm highly contemplating why I'm subbed at the moment.

While I can't stand all the cheaply cheesy done, soulless copy paste meta for the quick buck and the algorythm, I love how authentic and non intrusive you present your ironic humor in your videos and your videos content in general, contrary to current youtube trends where the editing is 500% over the top and where the guys try to artificially reenact and imitate certain meme stereotypes, which they saw elsewhere. Your humor and editing feels way more natural and non tryhard forced - as I said: authentic and non artifical and non over the top. And to me that's way more enjoyable to watch and I don't feel permanently being taken for a fool. Which I love to see for a change! Thats quality content! And kudos for keeping it "real" on youtube "these days"! ;)
