First of all, I have to say that little Luna is so adorable, and kudos to your teamwork together so each of you can get sleep. As a Mom of 3 children, I know first hand the extreme sleep deprivation that occurs with newborns. The sleep deprivation will pass (albeit like a kidney stone at times) but it WILL pass. I loved seeing your work on organizing your kitchen. I'm a Professional Organizer and if I can offer you one tip, it would be to go at it slowly (one drawer or cabinet at a time). Slow and steady wins the race and it also leaves more time to spend with your sweet little Luna. ;) Thanks for another entertaining video.

Amanda's aversion to those chips is a perfect example of food aversion (which I learned about in my Psych classes). People who vomit after eating a certain food will tend to avoid the food in the future. It is a defense mechanism for our brains to avoid "poisons" in the future. This is why you should be careful what you give to a person after they undergo chemotherapy, because they may avoid the food in the future if they end up vomiting. I like the organization that you both are doing. I have to say that the food containers look nice and the food looks appetizing! Keep up the great work! Amanda, I hope you are getting the rest you need and aren't getting too bored! I know Matthias is making you rest quite a bit! =)

lol I'm feeling the same way right now, Matthias. It's been more than half a year since I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that gives me chronic pain as well and so far the meds I'm taking consistently haven't given me results that would make me think optimistic things. Being pessimistic is no good either but I mean when nothing seems to be working it's kind of hard to keep the facade. Stay strong though!

Hey Matthias, I took the same exact type of pills for my back (herniated disks which puts pressure on the siatic nerve and causes muscle spasms) and they did nothing for me. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the steroids or if they just don't do enough to ease and help the pain. I just had to resort to more physical therapy and light swimming. Swimming is excellent since it's considered a "zero gravity" activity because it takes pressure off the back. I'm not sure if you've tried light swimming, but I hope that you find something that works for you 🙂

Homemade Labels: 1. print the lables out on paper 2. stick packaging tape on the labels (push air out) 3. cut the lables out (paper+tape) 4. soak them in a bowl for a minute 5. scrape of the paper off while in the bowl (the ink should stick to the tape) 6. stick the labels to where you want them! Matt I know exactly what that pill pack you are on is and I have been on it three times before; twice for a bad rash caused by an allergic reaction to a medication I used to take, and once for my back. The version you are using is the sam version I had for my rash. My doctor gave me a much stronger version for my back and that worked much better though I still had to continue taking other pain meds at the same time.

I think everyone can be either an optimist or pessimist at times. I'm a hardcore optimist, always looking for the best in every situation, but I can also be very pessimistic about certain things. I was really pessimistic during my teen years and early twenties because of depression and coming from an abusive past, but now I can't stomach being upset for too long because I relapse and it's hard to pull myself back.
