when I was a baby my mom was in a singing group that mostly performed at old folks homes and as she was packing up, a lady walked up to her and asked to hold me. she said yes, and asked my dad to keep me in sight. he turned his back to help someone and when he turned around, the lady was gone. he raced down the hall to find the lady holding me and showing me to her friends. he wasn't happy that she had disappeared with me. anyways, the title made me think of this story.

This was 20 years ago, but my mum once walked into a bakery where a group of women were sitting in a circle, chatting. As soon as she walked in, one of the women pounced on her and just grabbed my infant sister out of her arms. My sister then got passed around their circle while they made a fuss of her, and they then handed her back to my mum like nothing had happened.

My friends had the same rocker with their daughter, she now won't sleep unless she's moving and she's just over 1 years old! Sometimes babies need to cry, they need to strengthen their lungs, they need to be vocal. And as a parent you can tell when it's just a "making noise just because they can" type cry or when there is actually something wrong. People shouldn't be afraid to let children cry. Obviously not excessively, but a little whinge now and again never hurt anyone. You two are doing amazingly well and should be very proud! Thanks for sharing this all with us 😊

And to help our 5 month old we have like 5 different gadgets similar to yours because he gets so bored. His brain has to be entertained.
