Repack the gear grease with Lucas Oil Red and Tacky...It will definitely tame down the vibration of that cheap buffer...For $80.00 you could of bought the new Hercules Brushless Cordless 20 volt rotary polisher from Harbor Freight but it's bare tool only...It's smooth as butter with the same process of using the Lucas oil gear grease instead of the cheap grease they pack in these budget polishers. An Uno 50/50 pad with some 3D One would of fix that issue on the car in minutes..Great video!

Thanks brother I’m going to try the harbor freight soon.

Been using that one for over 3 years as a detailer so it's been used a lot. It's not nearly as loud as yours is on the video and the vibration in mine is very minimal. I'd buy it again.

@@BorndetailersTv i don't mind polishers that vibrate like even shine mate or max shine but that thing looked insane vibration-wise

They all work it’s just preference this one was crap in my opinion

The 21mm or 8mm in the El Cheapos are better as the 15mm are either a reduced counterweight 21mm or heavier for the 8mm which makes them have really poor vibration. When you see they are giving you these pads for like 5 bucks extra and all the effort LC and others go to in pad technology. They ok for single stage however. However when it comes to Rotaries, a cheap one is more than fine. If your lucky you can find Chinese unbranded Rupes copies. Theres also no label Shine Supplies available which are more than excellent. You will know its a copy from the weight and other things....

Are you sure that DA is 15mm throw? Looks like a short-throw 8mm throw but maybe it's bcuz the vibration & stalling makes it look shorter.

Honest review but no, I'm sticking with Rupes 😂😂 On a serious note: all the extra money it's worth it because the tool helps you and you don't have to fight it.

What do you think of the Milwaukee polishers?
@BorndetailersTv Жыл бұрын
I haven’t used in Milwaukee for a while but yeah they’re really good
@adamhosman7079 Жыл бұрын
@@BorndetailersTv I have Milwaukee batteries and think that it could help me save a little money. The cost of rupes and Milwaukee seem pretty similar otherwise. I just want insight to what works and doesn’t. I own a small car dealership in Utah county and occasionally need to use one but don’t want a garbage polisher that makes things take longer than they need to.

If you are gonna polish one time and be done i guess its ok but as a tool you use everyday absolutely not.
