Those plastic animals that were with the dishes that you threw into the trash can, go with the vintage Fisher Price Barn. It was a sheep at 12:24. It was in the small orange Pyrex bowl. There's another Fisher Price animal in the bin with the green dishes. Those are worth some money. You can just clean them with soap and water and they'll be good. I wouldn't throw them away, I'd put them with the barn when you sell it.

He just gets in too much of a hurry. He needs to take his time and be more methodical about the way he goes through stuff and where are his bins? Every ‘organized’ person knows that you bring bins , storage totes...something for sorting. What goes to flea market, what is for EBay and donations and a trash can, for trash would be helpful. Then you don’t end up throwing away the best treasures.

Taco, do NOT throw out broken Chinese pottery or china that is broken if it is hand painted. If it can't be sellable glued back, then take the broken pieces, put it in a bag and get a hammer. Break it into smaller pieces and then bag it, sell it for people who do mosaics, it is a big hobby.

Those screened boxes look like food dryers to me, but I could be mistaken. I have watched a few of these storage unit buys before and it amazes me that, so far, I have yet to find anyone who actually looks to repairing and refurbishing some of the items and thus increase their value. My wife and I look for bargains (we're in South Africa though, where we don't have these kinds of sales) and as we are both creative, she in the domestic and I in the mechanical, electrical and automotive fields, we are able to repair a lot of the non-working stuff or make things from others. This makes them more attractive to buyers and can often raise the selling price dramatically. Other stuff just needs a little refurbishing or polishing up. It's not hard work and it pays dividends.

The box with the mesh on the bottom is a garden sieve. You can remove bigger things from your soil. Throw a couple of scoops of soil in there, give it a shake, and you can toss the sticks, rocks, pine cones etc. off to the side.
