Those screened boxes look like food dryers to me, but I could be mistaken. I have watched a few of these storage unit buys before and it amazes me that, so far, I have yet to find anyone who actually looks to repairing and refurbishing some of the items and thus increase their value. My wife and I look for bargains (we're in South Africa though, where we don't have these kinds of sales) and as we are both creative, she in the domestic and I in the mechanical, electrical and automotive fields, we are able to repair a lot of the non-working stuff or make things from others. This makes them more attractive to buyers and can often raise the selling price dramatically. Other stuff just needs a little refurbishing or polishing up. It's not hard work and it pays dividends.

You need a couple rules for yourself. 1) Empty a locker from front to back, 2) Only handle an item twice. Once to sort, and once to load. You are stepping on stuff, that you could sell for more than $1. Good luck to you and your endeavors.

Those plastic animals that were with the dishes that you threw into the trash can, go with the vintage Fisher Price Barn. It was a sheep at 12:24. It was in the small orange Pyrex bowl. There's another Fisher Price animal in the bin with the green dishes. Those are worth some money. You can just clean them with soap and water and they'll be good. I wouldn't throw them away, I'd put them with the barn when you sell it.

He just gets in too much of a hurry. He needs to take his time and be more methodical about the way he goes through stuff and where are his bins? Every ‘organized’ person knows that you bring bins , storage totes...something for sorting. What goes to flea market, what is for EBay and donations and a trash can, for trash would be helpful. Then you don’t end up throwing away the best treasures.

I've noticed a few things that seem to trend on these kind of videos. 1. People that feel like it's disrespectful and in your face and find it cringy. 2. Not every item is treated with the best care and they are ready to come for you, Taco. 3. Usually you most disliked videos. 4. People are dying to come for you and in reality, even if you tend to upset a subscriber/regular viewer, they don't seem to be afraid to Express their distain. I think I has even gotten triggered myself in one of these videos. Now, I don't. What may seem trivial in one state, may be EVERYTHING in another. I learned that. Fischer Price animals? My son got the ficher price farm set one year. He never played with it. I tried selling it at a garage sale for super cheap. Compete very nice set, people walked right by. I ended up donating it 6 months ago and I just went in there the other day and its still sitting there. I don't get why other people are so triggered by those. Maybe where they're from, but not where I'm from. It's only value is a persons willing to pay for it. Chill people

I was shocked at how people just throw things in a storage unit. I have a unit but we stacked everything on top of each other. I always wonder why people store their belongings or can't pay the rental fee. Some units have a lot of valuables items. Saw an antique storage one time. It was just heart breaking at all the beautiful items that were left. I do admire the people who buy the units and clean them.out. The ones that are heartbreaking, are the ones with antiques and family heirlooms or just valuable items from elderly people. I always wonder about the people who had to store and then lose their belongings.

@Deborah Shaw I think it was a hoarders stockpile from garage sale and charity sale trips. I imagine after every trip they would stop off and just toss their treasures. For these people the hunt for treasure is more important than having a plan to resell or store the items. I'd bet anything they have more lockers at that facility which will fall into the same fate eventually. .

That "trendy mesh box thing" is an old flower planter tray, it actually had a purpose. Today they're usually made of black or green plastic but those ones actually look like antiques.
