A half cage is one thing, but a full cage is more dangerous than without when you're not wearing a helmet. In a rollover in a car that small, your head is likely to make contact with the top bars, and that will end badly. Unless there's 6"+ between your skull and the cage bar, skip it on the street.

IMHO you should just get the interior painted since it's going to the paint shop anyway. Just a simple black interior paint would be great since as you said you intend for it to be around for another 20 years.

My last drift car was an sr20det S13 50mm widebody front and rear. I installed a standard manifold ceramic coated and modified for a 38mm tial external wastegate, plus i upgraded the injectors and added the nistune ecu with a Garrett 2871R turbo. Made 280hp all day every day and ripped real hard. Perfect combo for a street/drift car.

S14 and S15 front ends have a few small differences that are hard to notice until you go through the process of rebuilding the front end such as mounting holes for the fenders and some of the structural parts of the chassis have slightly different bends in them
