I BOUGHT AN ABANDONED STORAGE UNIT FOR $20!

Believe it or not, used cosmetics sell well. Not sure if you can sell on Ebay, but the high end stuff sells, even when partially used. A lot of the stuff you found is expensive. The black and metal box is OPI, which is a popular, and fairly pricey brand of nail polish.

I agree. It looked like makeup sets in the box and bag. Most of the makeup is not used and expensive. Check them out before throwing them out 🙂

I like all your videos, but I really like that you show the "cheaper" side of storage buying. Most channels show the high end high dollar units, which is fine for what they are, but the reality is most of us don't live in a world where we can gamble with that sort of money.

Most of those are faked. Actually, Taco is the only one I've found that does not sell out or present falsehoods in any way, shape, or form. Some of them even do Taylor Swift and the movie promotions that YT pays preference to. They get money for just saying Taylor Swifts name. I guess her publicist pays well. I knew she was not near as popular as they claim. You'll never catch Tacxo trying to sell you anything or selling out in any way. That's why so many stay true to him too.

I enjoy the storage unit videos. Just a suggestion: wear the chest mount so we can see more of what is in the boxes/bags/bins. You appear to be struggling trying to do it one-handed.

Yes enjoy storage lockers. But watching someone clean them out one handed is frustrating. Maybe you can't use a tripod for some reason. Just be safe, so many drugs and needles in these units. Not bad at all for 29 dollars! The different cases alone will make you that money back and even more. You didn't get rich today, but you made a profit for sure. Taco, the makeup will sell at flea market. It's super easy to sanitize the eye shadow pallets using alcohol, so please don't throw them out. Put them in a box marked $1 or $2 each up at front of table closest to main walk and you'll be surprised at how quickly they'll sell! Also put all the pencils and markers in a gallon sized ziploc for a buck keeps out of landfill and someone will buy those also. Would love to see you go through everything at home. Give our ideas a chance, a buck is better than putting things in the trash any time!

Thanks for the cool video, Taco! It was great. For twenty bucks, you still made your money back with some of the stuff you'd found. You can't go wrong with the actual storage case, the Totes, especially the first one. You can never have enough of 'em around the house and you've got a few buildings at home where you can tuck them away. The Koors perfume will get some cash. I'd check and look up, each and every one of the cosmetics stuff, the unopened ones. I'd sold one of the little face creams, or whatever, for $50. I'd never heard of the company or anything. Nonetheless, I guess there was a market for that particular item. All of your videos are great. Whether it's curbside treasure, scrap, storage units, house clean outs, rummage sales. auctions etc - they're all great and they're all different. Watching you sort through storage units ... it's as if we'd bought the unit and are looking through it, ourselves and that's kinda fun in itself. One thing, though: you forgot showing us how you managed to carry out all of those gold bars! Oh well, maybe next time! Have a great one.

One of the Knoebels owns a n animal rescue down here........ School rings are usually silver....gold....white gold......Blue bin is great......Some makeup costs a lot.....Although no glue if used is worth anything....A lot of work doing these...But not bad for $20....Good for you....

I love all of your videos but my favorite are storage unit videos. The excitement of going through things and finding treasures. We would love to buy one in the Lancaster Lebanon area. Some old towns that might have some old things in the storage lockers. My dream one would be to find a locker v with antique furniture. Some really great stereo system, lots of vintage christmas decor, ceramic trees and blow molds. I collect them. Keep up the great work.

A few years ago I had the task to empty my son’s storage locker after his funeral. It was so draining seeing all the things he treasured being left for me to decide what to do with it, some are still sitting on top of my dresser 15 years later. Every time I watch a storage locker clean out I wonder about the people who’s locker it was and what the contents meant to them.
