The doll in the "piano" box is a Kuppie doll, most likely 60 or 70. The candle holders fit the black wall sconces you opened at the beginning. The pink crochet item is for an extra toilet paper.

All those made in Germany are worth money, especially teddy bears with metal buttons. Steiff bears are straw stuffed. The company has been in business since 1880. Claim to have the first factory produced teddy bears. Very collectible. Suggest checking prices on all the stuffed animals made in Germany.

That is a hand painted ceramic nativity set. The name is the woman who cleaned down the greenware & then painted the fired bisque & sprayed a surface protecter coat over the paint. She did a beautiful job on it! The other letters stand for Vancouver Washington, I think. She would have spent a fair amount of money to buy & fire those pieces & then the paint. That is my best guess, I used to have a kiln & did ceramics.

I think the locker owners were old, probably just the grandmother. Children traveled and sent gifts home. Grandma opened up the gifts, wrapped them back up and packed them away. This is what it was like going through my mama’s things. Sweet.

I love Steiff plush, I sold my Bunny for $50 last month. The old German bears fetch $100.00- $1000.00 The chicks and ducklings are about $35.00. Great Haul guys. Vintage Samsonite 1980’s 5 piece Luggage Set $100.00 new in the box...They were definitely into painting and firing ceramics... Can't wait to see more...

This episode made me so sad. This was someone's entire life, wrapped up in memories. Nicknacks, children's toys from the 60s-90s, treasured Christmas decorations, momentos from trips, sewing scraps, embroidered linens, crocheted blankets, handmade quilts, pictures. There was so much stuff, and I can't believe you thought it was a hoarder locker. I knew early on it was 60+ years of memories that people keep that were very special to them. I know you have to make your money back, but like the homemade stuff, children's childhood toys, which were probably her children and grandchildren's, I would set those aside and offer them along with the American flag back to the family. I know you won the locker, but if you have a heart, it would be a nice gesture to offer some of the family heirlooms back. ❤

Firstly if you watch this channel regularly you'll know that if it's possible to do so they DO give personnel items back to families who want them. It's not for you to be so judgemental particularly about thing's that neither you or the rest of us could possibly know, what if the person has passed & family don't want or can't find the space for all these things? What if they've already taken the things they treasure & can't afford the payments on the locker anymore? Maybe it's someone whose now in a much smaller home, or nursing/retirement home? All Wade & Ashley & the thousands like them do, is buy units that come up for auction/sale ,.. the word hoarder isn't just used for people who collect anything & everything, it's a general term for someone who holds onto to all their belongings just as collectors are those that either collect certain brands, items or groups of items .. they are just words that we can all understand . Lastly, maybe such a sensitive soul as yourself should reconsider watching these storage video's ,they all once belonged to someone, have a story but are there to be sold....if it upsets you so much why watch?

I have a hand blown pedestal punch bowl mini hand blown at the state fair in WV . I was there when my grandma bought it inabout 1974. I have others as well that I got different places. I would stand for hours at the fair watching the glass blower make the mini items.

When I was a kid my grandmother and I would go to pottery classes., where we would cast molds. Like the rabbit and things of sort. Bake them and come back later in the week and paint them. And so forth it was a great bonding time for the two of us. She was my best friend RIP ❤.

You have several pieces of chalkware. The fish, owls, some of the bigger plaques, and that weird pear with the eyelashes are all chalkware and very popular in the 50s through the 70s.

The little bowling pins and the rings could belong to a gameboard about 30 " square with little net pockets in the corner like a pool table. We had one in the 70s for my kids. The board might still be in the unit - ours lasted forever!

The Avon nativity set was made in different years, it was VERY expensive when it came out. There was alot to it from the family and the wise men, the inn keeper, the beggar man, the woman at the well, and animals, a walking angel, and a hanging angel that hung from the barn. I have the whole set, so beautiful when set out on velvet.

The Nativity is things you showed with names and dates that were made in a ceramic shop. The forms were already made and people bought them and painted them. Afterward signed their pieces. You're welcome.
