This is a 2011 Audi S4, which is also known as the Audi B8. The previous Audi B7 employed a 4.2l V8. The B8 variant has a supercharged 3.0l V6. Power is about 330hp and propelled via seven speed dual clutch auto or six speed manual gearbox. Overall, you'll find rave reviews by Audi owners and their S4s. Although it's not inexpensive to own by any means, it's simply the way this vehicle makes you feel. This may be the highest mileage Audi S4 on KZbin and it certainly needs some maintenance ASAP. As always, I'll teach things simplistically and by easy-to-follow means. I hope you join along.

I have a 2010 s4...2 intake runners needed $900 each at 135k along with a PCV another $250. Upper and lower control arms $4,500. This was in the later part of 2021

Crazy expensive to maintain. You can save a bundle by doing the work yourself but it's not 'user freindly'

My wife drives a B8, fantastic to drive around but problems pop up every 6 months or so. Excellent road trip car. Luckily we have a reliable independent Audi mechanic we go to, where I’m from; Botswana the total bill is never more than $150 per issue and we buy a lot of our parts from South Africa so I’d chuck it off to the cost of ownership. It’s been 2 years and 28,000 miles on it. We got it at 55,000 miles. (I’ve converted for my US people). PCV Replaced Front upper and lower control arms replaced Aux water pump replaced Top timing cover replaced Currently we need to replace: Oxygen Sensor Booster pipe service; there is a small leak So I’m getting some rough idle on it. Check engine light just came on. I want to replace the set of tires. 245/40 R18: Conti Sportcontact 5 Bridgestone Portenza Sport Goodyear EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 5 Looking to do a road trip to Cape Town right after New Years. Cost of ownership so far has been around $750 per year including major service (2 done so far); excluding insurance and fuel. Total spent so far is $1500.

180k it just broken in. Mine has 355k in km no problems what so ever.

@@6ix582 Honestly depending on what type of S4 you get, the only real thing I have heard being an issue is the mechatronics system in the trans. I have 140k miles on my B8.5 2013 S4 and I onyl really do the annual maintenance and change oil every 5k miles or less and shes got no issue. I did have a rear wheel bearing go out but I am good enough with a wrench that I could do it myself.

Was about to buy one to used car lot was looking at it online said it had 141,000 miles on it so I said sure I’ll come look at it two days later they said it was still waiting to be inspected and serviced before it went on lotcome to find out that it actually has 419,000 miles on it😅 nooooope

Please talk to me if youre inclined to share knowledge about owning a high mileage. Ive just bought A 2014 b8.5 at 98k miles as a VERY young and scared guy (19) and I plan to keep it as it is until 200-250K miles: Great condition, with no Breaks of mechanical parts, transmission, pcv, water pump etc. so far I have kept up to all popular and Audi Official suggested servicing PERFECTLY, and just am struggling to find knowledge on 150k+mileage s4's from the 2012-2016 Generation. If you have any Obscure Useful info or tips on caring for a very high mileage S4 and would like to help me make my car last till 2028 ish, Please let me know. Thanks
