have fun learning, that's the most important part. ❤

Honestly I would start on a acoustic it doesn’t have to be expensive like a second hand one or charity shop one and practice on that first so it would build your calluses easier and help your fingers gain more strength when doing cords to then easily progress to harder positions and cord changes!💗

congrats!! i just bought my first "expensive" guitar yesterday after 2yrs of playing - it's a fender strat as well, 60s style :) good on you forgetting a strat over a tele, i got the telecaster first, RETURNED it, and got the strat. they're a lot more ergonomical and imo just have a nicer tone. good luck on your journey!! :-)

Right on, you definitely picked a great amp, beginner, or not that amp is great deal for the money, and the strat is a fun guitar keep going, and im curious how you are learning? I learned years back from Justinguitar he had a free step by step but keep it up! 🎉

Congrats on the guitar. I also started with the katana mini. It’s a beautiful guitar. Over time you hands will hurt but your fingers will develop calluses making it easier to play. Pro tip standard guitar tuning is EADGBE . (Aka Eddie Ate Dynamite Good Bye Eddie. All the best 🎉

your first guitar is a $1000 guitar???
@richietwinz6824Күн бұрын
@@z1Pleb Kinda! I originally bought a Squier Debut Strat for my Dad but he can't play electric because he just had a pacemaker fitted so I decided to keep it. Problem was it was right handed and I'm a leftie, I tried to learn playing with my right but it just felt awkward. I looked for a left handed guitar that I wouldn't have to upgrade any time soon as i figured that although the Debut and most other cheap guitars are fine to start with, the parts tend to be lower quality and you have tuning problems so to save time I bought a mid priced Fender! I'm also looking at getting a bass next year but haven't decided on one yet, maybe the Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jazz Bass as they also come left handed!
