Just a heads up with the tfsi engines make sure the cam timing chain has been done or is in good condition as that can cause engine failure its as important as the timing belt

Best tuning ride ever 🥱 I have the tts prestige. The U.S. version 🫡 with stage 1 tune 300+hp next going up to stage 2 plus and dsg tune/downpipe. These audi are a different breed 🥱 hope you enjoy it

Check the hpfp cam follower pcv valve, turbo diverter valve ,fit a vis balance shaft delite kit ,ko4 turbo inlet pipe and sports cat map it and you should a safe 350 bhp car

Totally agree. My 2008 mk2 roadster was one of the most unreliable cars I have ever owned. Constant door leak that 2 garages could not fix. Lots of engine problems. New roof motors etc etc. The rear window glass was even coming away from the hood.

Great little cars! Had one myself a few years back. Mine also had the broken glovebox 😂 it's very common. I had a Miltek cat back and stage 1 tune running 250bhp. Car definitely felt a lot faster than that. Would highly recommend a tune.

Buy a kn panel air filter. Car will have 20 bh more and your fuel costs will decrease by the month. I’ve owned 3 cars and always had a kn panel air filter in mine and never had a problem with them. Great performance air filters!!!!! Buy 19 inch TT alloys for the Audi TT. They look unreal. Rob from Galway Ireland xx

I had an Audi TT stage 1 mapped to 300 BHP it was so fast and soo much fun, I actually had police chase after me I quickly parked in Tesco and walked away car was so small they couldn’t see it 😅😅 then I hopped back in then drove home 😅 good times with the TT! Double check the thermostat issue, it's the same engine as my Mk5 GTI and I have the same issue, BUT it's not the front thermostat that's the problem there is one on the side of the engine that causes the same problems you're having, I'm waiting for this snow to melt to fit my replacement. It's next on the side next to the battery

If its not getting up to temp it's the main stat, this car is manual so it doesn't have the stat on the side above the gearbox as that's only for DSG. I show how to change the main stat in my first drive in my cheap tts video 👍🏻thank me later 😂

Mileage aside and no doubt you won't own it for that long, but an Audi TT is definitely a keeper of a car. The mk1 do look more aggressive if it's the quattro etc, but mk2 onwards certainly better. I'd have loved one of these instead of the scirocco I had.
