The new seats look great. Fun fact I think the new seats are from a 3 door Golf. There's a handle in shoulder height on each seat to flip it forward

Great video.. some great little mods seats look great..little tip to save your nails.. instead of undoing the bolts by hand take the rachet off the top of bar and use the bar and socket effectively like a screwdriver.. that way your have less risk of breaking a nail 💅

Little tip for you when you undo bolts take the ratchet off and use the socket and extension as kind of like a screw driver it makes life much easier than undoing by fingers you can also do the same for re installing the bolts

Well done for hefting those seats out whilst suffering from a bad knee! I hope you're feeling better now. I'm loving this series, the Golf is looking so much better than before. As a modification idea, have you considered colour changing parts of the interior? I currently drive a small cheap car with a nondescript interior. A while back, I repainted some of the inside black plastic panels in white. OK so it's not to everyone's taste but the interior is now lifted from endless boring sea of black parts to being interspersed with much brighter parts. The car is now much more pleasant to sit in. I don't have any dogs so I can't say how it would last in such conditions but it's maybe food for thought 🙂

Never seen them mirror covers before like and them new seat look nice just out of 3 door tho not 5 door and I would do indicators next Mod to dynamic ones as they look smart on any car and cheap off eBay as well and easy to fit as well

Hello, what a difference mods make to a car,with the wind deflectors and GTI seats, door mirror covers,it looks smart.to make it easier for you leave the spanner socket on the bolt to take out.

You could of just removed the extension bar off the ratchet and used that to finish removing the bolts instead of struggling with your fingers (nails) 👌🏽 but never the less .. good job 👏👏

Pull the rachet off the extension, and use the extension etc to screw the bolts out. Much easier.

They transform the look of the car and so easily installed. I did say deflectors don't know if you were going to do them anyway or you took myne and others advice.

Those mirror covers make your car look cheap, I’d loose them. Not using the clips in the rear deflectors is a bad idea as those will fly off, the fronts should be ok. If you do allot of dog walking then put some mats in the front before the carpet gets trashed. My ocd want to give those new seats a good clean 😉
