Clint the change of scenery was nice. I think you have more profit potential from Bartons than Amazon pallets. Yes potentially you get nicer items from Amazon, but you gamble if its used/broken, or realy dirty. At least Bartons has New products, and you can easily flip everything with little effort.

I'm looking at all this stuff and I'm realizing why overstock boxes are a relatively new phenomenon. This is the kind of crap I would have to try to sell at Kaybee Toys and Sam Goody. With those small stores closed and gone there's nowhere else for the big box stores to offload their old junk in order to stock new product.

I really enjoyed that Clint. It was different and entertaining and all the stuff you got may have been cheap but it was ALL new and factory sealed. Those little dreamcathers were cool. I would buy them if I didn't live in the UK and put feathers and things on them and then sell them at a few pounds. Great stuff do more of these I really enjoy them.

Someone else already suggested something similar, but I actually make gift bags for my nieces / nephews (or used to.. now in their teens & too ‘old’ 😫) with a few sweeties (candy!), those little pens, fidget spinners etc. I’d often do them themed for certain holidays or the summer break to keep them entertained. I wonder if that’s something you could consider for your shop or online? You could easily sell (depending on size) for $5-10. Someone mentioned doing mystery boxes, you could absolutely do mystery children’s bags! They’d also be great for parents if they want to make Birthday bags out of what you send 👍🏻 Just a thought! I really enjoyed this video.. something a bit different! X

mary303030 it’s easier for them to box up and sell like this then they don’t have to test and re package, Most shops have to destroy returned items even if they are brand new. You should watch dumpster diving videos it’s shocking how much they waste.

I don't know about USA, I've never visited, so can only speak for the UK, but most of those things are what you'd find in a £1 shop, monster trucks, slingshot, phone cases etc. You're saying you can get $5/£4 for them? Do Americans generally spend more on things or is it state specific? I always feel your prices are high but may be wrong. Enjoy the vids regardless.

People on the channel seem interested in your novelty boxes. I wonder if you ever thought of making a 10, 15, or 20 dollar grab bag for subscribers that has a random selection from the novelty boxes. Just so long as it has a high enough price point so that shipping makes sense to ship it. Anyway its just a thought. Since a lot of the novelty items seem to be popular.

Well, he will probably sell a few but no way is he going to sell all of them. Especially the i5s. I have hundreds of old cases, many of them listed online and I sell 1-2 a month. S7 cases sell decent, but anything older is pretty slow to never-sells. i6+ and 7s sell sometimes. I always chuckle when he gets older cases and acts like they sell "easily." At least those are not the three major brands - which are totally locked out on Amazon for everyone -- Speck, Incipio and Otterbox. Pretty sure I have never sold an i5/g5 case though and I just threw away a whole stack of 10-12 or so i4 bike mounts because they are very specific and can't hold anything else. (the MSRP was $120 each, but they didn't sell at $5 - they had hardware for turning phone into a bike computer too) Junque.

Those phone cases are sold at WalMart at $2 apiece, and they sit unsold. iPhone 5 is so old that very few people have them. He must have 1000+ foot traffic through his store if he thinks he can get $5 a pop for cheap plastic cases that fit cell phones whose prominent owners are the poor in Kenya and other 3rd world countries. Old cases, especially ones for 4 year old phones are very hard to sell. They sit in stores , taking up space , and then get liquidated to guys like Franchise, who end up eating the remainder of the loss when he practically gives them away or they end up in the dump. To give you an idea of the value drop on phone cases, you can buy Otterbox cases for one-year-old models, online , for $5 shipped shortly after the newest phones come out, but cases for current cases cost $40. Franchise must have slept through Micro-economics 101, missing the chapter on supply and demand. If he has a shop that a couple hundred folks walk through daily, there might be profit to be made, if you exclude everything but the costs of merchandise. Otherwise, please, please do not do what this guy is doing. You’ll be on KZbin in a couple short months, trying to recreate what this fella did, in vein, to augment your income so that you can feed your kids. Same thing with the monster truck toys. They sell for 1- $2 in numerous national stores. I just bought one from Menard for 4yo, for.......$1. They were alongside 200 others in a box that has been full, for 2-3 months. Everything in that box can be sold for a penny to $1, and some will never sell, even for a penny. “Estimated potential profit” is $0.00, after overhead and labor...unless... he has got traffic that surpasses your local Wal-Mart.

If those cases would have came in his Amazon returns pallets he would have said $1 a piece. It seems that he is promoting the place where he gets these cases/pallets, so he is a lot more positive. Probably being paid for promoting them.

@@auditorofauditors862 He may overstate the value, and phone cases are definitely a product where he does. But you need to get over your hate-boner for FK. (or go somewhere else) Old phone cases either don't sell or you get $10 for them, generally. The nicer ones anyway.. the cheap ones are worthless once the phone is two generations old. (S8 cases still sell on the rare occasions they are clearanced) I have no doubt (and I obviously DO the same sort of lots) that he will make money if he has any sort of venue like a small storefront -- or that sort of item would sell $1-3 dollars all day long at a flea market. I don't do the fleas and I make money throwing away most of my cases. The two lots from Barton's (and yeah, he probably has a promo deal) are the sort I could never do - but perfect for fleas/bazaar or a clearance storefront in a poorer area. Just because you can buy that truck for $2 one place does not mean he can't sell it for $5 somewhere else. Anything that can be New or Like-New to Amazon is going to sell for a lot more (although fees are high so he would have to price at $8 to make $4) I am shocked every day at what people pay on Amazon..

Daniel Sifrit I actually watch all his videos. He’s a likable guy and I can see why he has the following he does. I don’t think I’m being rude, rather I’m stating my opinion to help uniformed/uneducated viewers make an educated decision and realize it’s not all roses and dandelions, as FK suggests ( kind of the same reason others place reviews on Amazon products to help others avoid buying trash). And to warn others not to purchase pallets of Amazon returns. It is all junk. Most everything he says has decent value has electrical components, but he never the testsThis stuff is returned for a reason, and “junked” by Amazon for a reason, and pawned-off by the liquidator for a reason, and portrayed as having value by FK for a reason. And I’m stating my opinions for the aforementioned reason. I agree about the cases. For every one you sell for $10, a large number will sit unsold. If he has a shop in a very poor area of Indianapolis, he may do better than I would think, even when you account for the mass theft of 10% of his inventory that would inevitably occur. But, I doubt he runs a store at all. If he did, he would promote it on his channel and participate in e-commerce which has been suggested by hundreds of his subscribers. There is no evidence he sells any of the items that appear in his videos. Matter of fact, he has no EBay store, no Amazon store, no e-commerce store, and there is no indication he has ever sold an item to a single one of the hundred-plus requests to buy in the comment section. Strange, very strange. He could drive a decent amount of traffic to URL’s that list his merchandise, but he does not. It defies logic.
