Probably the most hated single cylinder bike in the market right now for no reason. Whenever I read the comments either in youtube or instagram, it's just hate all around. People keeping the 390 as a benchmark for a 300cc single which produces more than adequate power for the Indian roads and I don't know why. The sales might be very low for TVS and if BMW launches this as their next naked bike, people are not gonna complain and drool over that bike. TVS, the germans of Indian motorcycle engineering is the most hated brand in India.

Congratulations. its a breeze of a machine to ride. adjustable suspension are a good addition if one can stretch the budget. seat is a gimmick but a cool one. steel braided brake lines. I am loving mine and that is a blue color one with full kit. Get the heavy handle bar weights if you feel the handlebar buzz uncomfortable.

Other riders didn't understand my g310r purchase, but they dont know how fun this engine actually is, and how good the handling is. Others are pereplexed by the unebwn gearings and the non-gradual clutch. But once you master the balance of the precise clutch that asks you to shift at precise rpms , its sooo rewarding mann. Suspension cornering and handling matters a lot for track . Even more than pure raw power. Cus roughly all bikes generate the same power within a riding class. That being said ive never actually done a proper track day 😂

Good review! Waiting for more about the engine, the systems, and overall feel, particularly lower end grunt /torque. I am not gunning for RR or RTR versions of this engine, but I am waiting for RTX version ("turncoated" BMW 310 GS😂). I don't know how long it will take. The awaited RTX version would be in contention with Triumph Scram 400x (an allrounder one for sure) for an upgrade from my Himalayan 411. I can wait a bit as the bike would be there for keep, up to 5-7 years. I am just on the wrong side of 55, and so, the weight of the bike along with pillion and luggage set up matters a lot, too (keeping up my sojourn of more than 3 decades riding passion). At my stage of life, I don't want to commit too much money into flashy assets because scoring browny points is the trade I went past by decades ago😅. Naked bike version of this 310 cc iteration is beyond my consideration because I am not an "in the city" type of rider (added to this, is the sheer inconvenience of Mumbai's traffic). I enjoy long rides and still keep doing around 500-600 kms a day sometimes. Please let me know few things: 1) how is TVS service network for handling this level of bikes and 2) low end torque and torque delivery pattern at various rpms! These two things would suffice to make an informed decision on my purchase! Thanx!

Even though CB300R is a great bike, it has huge flaws when it comes to servicing. Many of the spare parts have a waiting period of 1month or even more. The only thing that is alluring is that engine and that design ❤. Other that that mehh.... . My cousin is now suffering after buying that thing.

I've ridden this. It makes sense only for the track. But I feel you should've waited for the RR310 to come with these electronic updates. With the optional rearsets and lower clip-ons, the RR would be a lot more track worthy than the RTR. Good luck anyway 👍🏼

How do you maintain multiple motorcycles? These FI engines start to give issues if we keep them idle. Even starting them once a week or alternate days and keeping them in idle for sometime doesn't help much

Just go for a small ride every morning on your alternates (the ones you won't use for daily rides). And keep the tank slightly above half full at all times (with atleast 95 octane fuel) and use the carbon cleaner thing every 4 months/3500km. My two bikes run just fine. But I keep them super well maintained polished and glossy so much so that you can see your reflection on them 🥷

@@woody_vlogs it's gonna be a super long non technical explanation but your bike might have a weird fuel injector thing as some bs 6 phase 1 bikes did where the bike acted weird when it couldn't read the fuel level properly. If you keep the bike on side stand on a slight slope and the fuel level indicator is on the other side, the fuel indicator reads less than it should and the FI starts acting weird if it thinks that there's insufficient fuel and few service centres just replace the FI if it is under warranty but many others think you're retarded or they don't know how to actually fix the problem. So if you keep the fuel level at slightly above half it'll always read atleast 26% if you're not parked on a steep slope. Also don't fill your bike up to the top if you're gonna park it and not daily ride it in the summer months that also fucked up some Bajaj bikes cus of gas build up. Also use WD 40 or engine oil to lube your chain every 400kms cus even if you don't ride a lot, dust and random particles in the air slowly build up on the drive train.
