There's a KZbinr called "Outdoor Retiree" that has one of those and he has a video showing an upgrade he did on his that puts his in neutral. and his is shorter I think, and it runs 22mph. He said there's a grease fitting inside back by the jet drive that you have to grease often.

Flair. Because they are air intake engines you should find a way to put a small turbo kit in it. This could have the engines put a lot more hp out than stock.

Would be a fun project but turbo on small engines can be a nightmare for the power, and even worse for carb. For the money could possibly get a small Rotax engine and swap for more power.

All engines have a governor. This one should be about the same as the predators that you messed with on the go kart. And throttle wise it should all be manual except a electric actuator that moves the throttle instead of a throttle cable. I don't know for sure but that's what it seems like.

These are the older version Mokai ES-Kapes. The newer version is $6k, brand new. These are worth about $3k each. Flair just over pays for everything. Brad The Builder is probably charging $20m for his $6m home.

There's a guy named Beau who has a channel called Aquachigger. He does metal-detecting and river treasure hunting. He's got an aluminium jet kayak and has been using it for years. An alternative to the petrol powered jet is a Bixpy electric jet.

The metal detecter KZbinr named Aquachigger has had one of those jet kayaks for years, he uses it to go metal detecting down creaks and rivers. They're cool, and seeing him using his for many years makes me believe they must be built really good because they last a long time and they don't have many issues.

U should get an old town 120 autopilot, u will need to buy a lithium 100amp hour battery if u don’t already own a few from your other trolling motors. I have the old town 106 powered my minn kota and I love fishing with it and it only goes 5-7 mph depending on wind and gear I carry. But it is 100% worth the price! I even have a garmin striker 4cv fish finder on a separate 10amp hour battery and I plan on taking it out on Lake Michigan to go salmon fishing

One of the best parts of flairs videos is when he buys a new toy and is so excited to show us like he’s opening presents on Christmas Day lol. Just a grown up kid at heart. It’s funny how little of stuff it takes for a man to be entertained and excited. Also I really wish you would get that big Argo going if you still have it. The one with the double sets of wheels. Cause that thing is badass, same with the lawn mower you just bought. You just gotta learn how to use it, they’re so fun!!

Kayak is fine it's from the wake splashing over when you slow down it happens to jet boats as well it the extra weight from Lucy is causing the rear to drop to low while full sleep and the wake is going over the side of the engine compartment

Check for governor if so remove. High output carb will gain significantly. The rudder control you can definitely come up with some linkage to make it more significant of an angle.

Gotta be on the throttle when turning. The angle of the jet pump forcing water out is what makes you turn. Just like a jetski it doesn't turn if you're off the throttle

You most likely need a carbon seal for the jet pump. It's where the engine shaft connects to the jet pump. They get dried out when sitting too long and will let water in when the engine is turning the shaft. It's common on jetskis that sit too long without use as well. It looks like a bearing but is made of hard rubber with springs wrapped around it to compress it to the shaft and pump.

Those jet kayaks are a blast, I've used one in the everglades an had a blast using it. Wish I could get me one for up here in Northern Alabama. Think it would be fun in the Tennessee River Course the one I used had a modified engine in it and was able to seat 2 people. I believe the top speed was around 40mph with 2 people and close to 50mph with one person

The steering...... Unlike outboards or anything with a rudder where you have the ability to steer the boat even after the engine is shut down, in jet driven watercraft, you only have steering while under power.

Cool purchase. You need to design a flip down ramp for Lucy to get back in. The leak is probably around the jet pump. I'm not familiar with those boats, or hot rodding a Kohler engine. A predator and I could get you to 15 horsepower, and high rpm
