I'm really impressed.. a young person with so much interest and knowledge of vintage cards. That '59 Gibson rookie, is such a tough card to find centered. Thanks for sharing your card collecting adventures.

No problem, I love vintage

Ryan used to tutor me in math and chemistry. Not only did he consistently make my teachers look dumb, but he also can multiple 4 digit numbers in his head probably 5 idk I forget. Hope you're doing well brother.

Very nice Ryan. I just wish we had done shows on south Texas like this. Great pick ups and great deals. Best of luck in 2023.

Great stuff! Love the Banks coverage and your cards and signed ball. I looked up the Banks 1998 donruss significant signatures and right now it seems the going rate is $99. Awesome as always, Al!

What a pleasure watching a young buck deal in vintage. Kids your age don't understand that thier 50k print panini rookie won't have value in 5 to 10 years

Nice video Ryan 👍🏻 btw it would be great if you had someone filming you , we would get the full virtual experience of the card show

Until I can scale, just not feasible. I would have to buy an additional flight + food. Also pay for the videographer for the day. Next plan is to get a booth and accept subs + buy/sell

I know everyone is different situation financially. But how much money do you recommend someone to bring to a card show?
@BreakoutCards Жыл бұрын
To make it worth your time, 5k min. (Not all cash but between that and in the bank). 10-20% roi on what you spend at the show
@ACD1994 Жыл бұрын
@@BreakoutCards Oh wow, I thought you were going to say like, 100 dollars to a thousand. 💀
@BreakoutCards Жыл бұрын
@@ACD1994 I figure with Travel and time you have to factor in both. If just collecting any amount works. But if trying to have as a side income or go shows state to state you need 5kish to make a show worth the time

That one seller brought a creased Zack Grienke auto card and a written on the back Tom Seaver...at least he was transparent about those flaws, I guess 😂

Some of the hall of fame voters didn't like Ted Williams. I believe someone left him off their top 10, and ended up finishing in, second for MVP in 1947.
