@@kristensharkie8973 I taught primary school children for 32 years. Missing a week of school does indeed have an effect. Precious time then has to be spent on helping the children catch up whilst holding back the rest of the class. On several occasions during the spring and autumn terms we had several families take their children on holiday causing the curriculum to be severely delayed.
