Yes, there is the European or North American view. All very overprotective. In Southeast Asia, the picture with whole families and children on motorcycles is normal, but they only drive at 30 km/h max. So it's not really a problem. 👍

I wouldn’t have Jelina on that motorcycle for the first 200 miles. To properly break in new tires, it takes 200 miles to wear off the slick coating. Right now it’s a safety hazard, especially on wet surfaces.

With the scooter you are limited here in the Philippines. Normal roads and maintained nature trails are ok, but there are many beautiful places like waterfalls and remote beaches that you can only reach on foot or by dirt bike. I've been riding one myself for 2 years and it's worth it.
