I Bought A 2005 Mercedes E55 AMG!!! AMG has produced incredible cars over the years, and the W211 E55 AMG was no exception. This car has a supercharged 5.4L V8 making nearly 500hp. It was the fastest production sedan in the world at the time. Naturally, I've always admired this car. It's the very definition of a sleeper. When I found this one, I knew I had to have it. Right on! M156 is such beast as well! Exhaust notes is the best thing if you have any mods done to the exhaust!

Hey mate, welcome and congratulations! Looks like you're going to keep it garaged which is very important. Rubber seals, head liner etc will be affected by the elements. I'd recommend waxing every 3-4 months. One major thing is the main battery. Get a good one for peace of mind. I have a Varta G17. If you go away, put it on trickle charge. A lot of little electrical problems pop up due to low battery voltage so if you've got a good one you don't have to stress about it. Enjoy the car man, look after it and I hope it looks after you!

@@HeyboysGarage I think the Auxiliary is just there as a fail-safe in case the main one fails for whatever reasons - you'll still have backup power for all the safety stuff, air bags etc Good luck

I have one I bought in 2008 as a MBZ cpo. It’s one of the few benzes I own that I probably will never sell. It had 30k now has 130K! Only issue has been airmatic air suspension. My tip, don’t buy Arnott, use only oem Bilstein MBZ shocks…

Ive seen a few of your vids before, now that you have a 55k you got me as a sub lol. I love mine. Regarding the later models and different blower, its not "bigger", it just spins slightly faster.

dynamic boulsters will counter the curves to hold you in place, and probably the massaging function to... they're all air bladder controlled so can have leaks at this age, but are reliable if no leads... still use mine EVERY RIDE!

Facelift might have to wait for a while or maybe might not. Cause… By the time I’m done doing a facelift, it will cost the same as installing a XL HE, secondary HE with a CWa50 IC pump with split cooling.

@@HeyboysGarage definitely will... sometime in the next year, got some repairs on merci and will be grabbing an A7 for something more efficient and cost efficient for repairs... but always had my eye on a supercharged AMG, just got to have some options other than v8s when it comes to gas. I know a supercharger isn't gonna make it more economic, especially w/ my heavy foot! we'll have to shoot and compare the 55 platform

While you're at it on the front end,, I'd throw an e63 bumper and grill on it. Give it the Ole face-lift you know what i mean🤣. I bought mine with the face-lift already done. Adds a good look.

Mines a 2006 E55 Amg I bought it with 41k on it. And mine is silver and black wheels and black interior. The 3M headlight kit works so amazingly mine were bad and I used it. They look like factory new again.

The seats are dynamic and massaging so they will hold you in the corners bolster up and you can also have a massage at the same time

Put a new rubber valve stem in the spare tire. All of them go bad after about 8-10 years and if you get a flat you will put the spare on and the valve stem will blow out and you’ll have another flat.

You have to call mercedes about SRS light becouse they called everyowner about the same problem. I have a friend that he had about 2 lights SRS, AIRBAG. and mercedes fixed that problems. And he didn't need to pay anything. So call mercedes first and ask them about SRS. 👍
