wow love both pieces. the bracelet is breath taking. in regards to lengthening the chain it be nice if they can do it in such a way that you can still have an option to wear it on the 2 original lengths as well. That way you have an option of 3 different lengths.

Izabella that’s such a great idea if they can add one more jump to have that option as it’s more flexible however I’ve been told they add chain on both sides to balance the length because it is a fixed pendant xox

@@gorgeouss79 the necklace in both colours would be beautiful regardless. But, if you want colour go red if you want something simple but elegantly classy go black. Both are hard wearing stones so you wouldn’t have to worry about scratches and gross marks when underneath the light. I wish I had gotten the onyx to be honest because of its durability and scratch resistance. But I can get the stones replaced. Ooooooh if you get it. Oh, if you don’t :D. They’re hella pricey I get it :)

I am surprised you didn't get a travel pouch. I ordered two pieces (2 different orders) from VCA France, the sweet Alhambra necklace and the sweet earrings and everytime I got a travel pouch 😔 for the price you pay, you should get one without asking for one.

ann park some people are superstitious (especially business owners) so they like to choose a piece which has a good number on it to bring them more luck along with a nice stone. That was what I was told by my SA xox

I bought the MOP vintage necklace in the Chadstone store and had to ask for one (they said they don’t normally give them out?) but he ended up giving me one.. I hinted it was my birthday but they didn’t wrap my box with a ribbon so I should’ve asked like you. They also didn’t give me a polishing cloth and said I could use that cushion in the box to wipe it?? Like what! Nevertheless such gorgeous pieces but I expect A+ packaging for the prices we pay xxx congrats Kim 💗

rachel vorakoumane Thanks hun! It’s such a shame for the prices they charge we shouldn’t be asking them to wrap up the “fine jewelry” in a presentable manner. I find it quite careless on their behalf. Each piece is special and utmost care and attention to detail should be taken with each purchase as it’s not an everyday purchase. I thought it would be a given. They should just know really. Like if you bought Tiffany jewelry and the blue box didn’t come with the white ribbon that would be so awkward. You would feel it’s missing something. With the cleaning cloth the information inside the booklet says each van cleef piece is unique & delicate and utmost care should be taken to maintain the longevity of the piece and each piece should be stored in the “travel pouch” when not in use and the cleaning cloth is to maintain the beauty of your piece- so if you don’t get a cleaning cloth and travel pouch, how can you maintain it like how they say you should? It’s quite frustrating. We shouldn’t be asking for this stuff. Their jewelry is delicate, the stones they use is also very delicate. And when working in retail hearing the word NO is a big no no in my books. Even if they truly don’t have one. Just pretend to go out the back, come back and then say: I’ve had a look and at this stage we’ve run out I’m sorry. With any retail store saying no to a customer is so bad. There are ways to say no without saying no 😊💁‍♀️ TFW and hearing me ramble, enjoy your day sweetie 💕💕💕

I get ribbon, shopping bag, polishing cloth and travel pouches with my STERLING SILVER Tiffany so it is no excuse especially with the caliber of precious stones and metals VCA use! Love your new VCA pieces.... beautiful on you! I recently purchased the vintage alhambra YG diamond pendant and vintage alhambra YG diamond/malachite bracelet for my 50th bday. I made sure to ask for the travel pouches. The SA gave me 4 total pouches in different sizes...was disappointed didn't have cleaning cloths but pleased about the pouches. Just curious if you had your necklace extended and if so, by how much? Our necks must be similar in size as mine falls to the same level. My dilemma is I have an extender I could use to wear 0.5 inches longer in both short and long setting. Perfect length on me...but not sure if I should have to use an extender given the cost of the necklace. My SA here in California said I could extend length by 1inch, 1.5 inch, or 2 inches. I feel like 1 inch may be too long. So hard to decide! Would love to know what you ended up doing and how you like the length. Thank you!!!

MaxeysMommy congrats on your gorgeous VCA pieces to mark such a marvelous milestone 🎉👌 I love VCA malachite it is a very classy colour & precious stone. I had the choice of extending the necklace 2cm, 3cm, 5cm I went with extending inbetween 3cm and 5cm (4cm) because I couldn’t decide. My SA recommended 3cm as it’s the most popular choice by her clients. I regret not going 2cm. I notice my pendant flips and twists around and around when worn. Because it is a fixed pendant I think it’s best to be worn as short as possible so the chain stretches out and so the pendant lays flat on your hollow area so it doesn’t keep flipping. For me to shorten it again will cost $180 so I’ll just leave it as is and wear it on it’s shortest link HTH ❤️❤️❤️

VCA is such a high-end luxury brand, they really shouldn't dilute their shopping experience by withholding small things like travel pouches and polishing clothes - I don't know of any other luxury jewelry brand that does this? Honestly my SA at VCA Chadstone is great, and judging by other's experiences, I would only buy from her. If your SA keeps saying no to these reasonable requests, and if you have the thick skin to do it, just walk away from the purchase and buy from another SA at another time. It's not like we can even pay to buy these travel pouches anyway - so if they're not to give with purchases, what are they for?
