I have owned both pocket 2 and 3, and I still love pocket 2 especially its pause feature except that its screen is slightly small & a-little difficult to view especially in the night, but both camera are great. They are just like your bestie. Enjoy yourself to it😁

Nice video, thanks! Lil tip, if you film in pro mode, in dark environment you can increase your iso and lower a bit the shutter speed, this will make your image brighter, it will also add a lil bit of noise but not that much, so, if you are shooting 24 fps, you can use 1/50 shutter speed and your iso in 400, but you can play with it of course and choose what fit the best for the sittuation, just need to be carefull to not to under or overexpose. Hope this helps!

I also have the pocket 2 and now saving for the pocket 3. I can tell you that mostly when I travel I put it on FPV mode, because the way it moves with your hand, gives a smoother flow to the video. The face tracking is actually bad, it loses you pretty fast, I also have the DJI osmo mobile 6, and it suffers from the same problem, it really easily loses my face in crowded places. I usually record in 4K that's for more zoom options when editing. As for the exposure - that's its Achilles heel, there's nothing really to do about it, you just need a bigger sensor like 1", it's a bigger eye, it sees and catches more light, which is why I plan on buying the pocket 3. You can watch KZbin videos and see how it shoots at night - amazing. I also have the creator package but nobody uses the mini tripod, and try to go with this camera to places where you can really record a video, on the street, I love checking my cameras in the morning mostly, at sunrise. Give it a try. Or when I was at a zoo in Israel, I've had amazing videos and photos. It's a really good camera! Enjoy it, and share more footage with it :)

I totally agree with you about the face track, it loses my face so fast if I move too quickly. I'm not using that feature anymore because I got so annoyed at it, but besides that I'm enjoying the process of figuring it all out. Hope you get to buy the pocket 3 soon! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Little tipp. Even if you shot 1080p Render with 4k. The compression from youtube is way better wenn youtube thinks your uoloading a 4k video. It absolutley compresses 1080p to hell ...

I really want to like the pocket 2. It just feels the things go out of date so fast:(. I would like to know how I can compare the quality between the pocket 2 and my current pixel 8. I'm not sure how to compare the specifications. Would you happen to know?

@@DB6904. yeah, there are so many cameras nowadays that it’s hard to pick one & stick with it and not get excited over newer cameras. Maybe if one of your friends has a pocket 2 you could borrow it? Or watch videos made with it and then compare? Idk it’s hard to compare them if you don’t actually have it.. I guess if there’s a store near you that sells the pocket 2 you could ask for a test run or something? & for specifications I would just look them up online and compare!

@@stevencheemanshing hi! the creator combo offers extra accessories such as DJI Pocket 2 Do-It-All Handle, Wireless Microphone, Wide-Angle Lens & Micro Tripod. Personally, i use the do-it-all handle and the wide-angle lens a lot because they make it a little easier, but that’s just personal preference. You just have to see if that’s something you want or not ☺️

@@yalinebloemen yes, I bet!! I got the GoPro 11. I wanted something small, with wide lens and good stability. I looked at the DJI, but it was much more expensive than the one I chose at the time, so 🤷🏻. But I should say that filming in 4K is so much more fun than the regular 1080p!!

There are some cameras I want but my bank account says no for the moment 😅 so until I have saved enough money to actually afford it, I will continue to use this one

I actually stopped using facetrack / activetrack because it annoyed me a little bit how fast it was. I'd rather just be in frame and move myself than have the camera track everything. Don't know if you can actually fix that tho ..

Ooooh great question. It has a smartphone adapter (USB-C) so I think you can just use that to upload it to your iPad, but I'm not 100% sure. I use the charging cable to get the files onto my computer because that's a lot easier. There are a lot of KZbin videos about transferring your files to your iPad, so I'm guessing it will be fine

I often film short bits, so I can easily do 3-4 days with it without recharging. It should be able to work a little longer than 2 hours, but I haven't been able to test that out yet :)

Nice video. If you upload in 4k youtube uses the better newer AV1 codec rather than AVC codec to compress your video. 4k will use the camera to its full potential by getting more information and colors to every pixels. That compression would not be an issue if you had thousands of subscribers since youtube works that way. 4k video also gets recommended more.

I also recently got the pocket 2! I would've loved the pocket 3 but the price tag is insane. I kinda just realized that I probably will never use the pocket 3 to its maximum potential and so the pocket 2 was enough for me.
