Could you do a video on buying a house - especially being a first time buyer? What are the pros and cons or buying a new build as I’ve heard mixed reviews?

I really, really would recommend against buying a new build. I say that as someone who has a partner who works on the new build sites. He doesn't build them, he lays the curbs etc but he sees how they are built. They are thrown up with no real care. They also advertise them as a certain price but make you pay for extras if you want them. These extras are things like turf in the garden, and taps in the sink though so they're kind of essential. Also, once you buy the customer service isn't great as they have your money. I totally get why people buy them because they're new and it's kind of like move in and go and with an older house it's highly likely there will be some maintenance work to do. Honestly though, I'd never buy a new build. They're overpriced for bad quality work and although they won't need any work at first, it likely won't be long before they do.

@@becciilouise6216 I totally agree with you. They are not made well at all and they all look the same and have zero character. I just bought my first house, a big old terrace, with high ceilings and I absolutely love it. It has so much character.

Agree 100 % it's sick, so classy such a refreshing change from grey/white/mirrored/Ikea furniture/ Tom Ford/Chanel table top books/doughnut vase/body candles. Don't get me wrong I like some of those 'trend' items but every house/apartment just looks the same. Hope they don't change it up too much.

Ah Man 2020 has been a hell of a year. I am only 20, I am not someone who thinks about the future at all, I don't plan my life out. I never was the girl who wanted to have a white picket fence, I don't want kids or to get married. I live each day as it comes. Basically what I am trying to say, I love seeing people succeed and chasing there dreams. My brother has his own home at 22, he is about to get married. Owning a home in your early 20s is such a blessing man what an accomplishment, Congrats Jordan & Jake. I don't know where my life is going, But I hope one day I can become a home owner

this is a beautiful house. it’s just blowing my mind how boujee houses in the UK differ from ones in America. there is a door to each room downstairs in this house, as opposed to boujee houses in america where it’s all one big open space that flows together. definitely interesting to see the differences

It is wild seeing how different new builds are in other countries! Everything in the US now has an “open floorplan” and builders have moved away from separate rooms/doors for everything, and there it seems to be the exact opposite! Nothing wrong with it, both have their pros and cons I’m sure. It’s gorgeous, congrats! I love seeing new homes. Enjoy it!

The projector idea is key. I have one in my house and it’s a game changer. Also I would recommend if you do a projector in that room then keep the wall color so that you don’t have to get a screen you can literally just do it on the wall. It’s the perfect color for it.

You should donate the the furniture you don't need because your changing the rooms , to families who don't have beds, or need a child's bedroom .... Lot of family's are struggling even more now due to Covd19 and being furlough... That would be amazing if you did that ... And vblog it taking the furniture to the people you decide to give it too ... I really hope you do something like that as it would be giving back to maybe to the people who have put you in your lucky place now hugs xx

@Claire dogs can be for more purposes than just pets. In fact I’d consider it cruel to make some working breeds pets, some breeds need a ‘job’ and need to be trained for a job to keep them content. Idk what breed it is she has or what the company is. But training a dog for protection is what’s best for certain breeds, having them just for ‘love’ can deprive them of the mental stamina they need to be happy

@Claire plus rescuing dogs is not always the best option. Don’t get me wrong I love rescues and have worked with rescue dogs with my aunt when I was younger to help rehabilitate them BUT they are not suitable for every family. I probably wouldn’t get a rescue dog as it wouldn’t fit my lifestyle I’d prefer a dog I picked personally and I can know their background and family history. You don’t know what illnesses run in the line with rescue dogs. I much prefer to rescue and shop ethically
