@@goatreviews I did buy one for my wife but she thinks it’s incredibly ugly so I don’t know what I’m going to do with it. I was intrigued to find out about the little animation. Very cool. I also really like the day countdown feature. I have never seen either of these things on men’s Casios and am a bit jealous.

@@Capt620 You should be able to get more than your $11 for it elsewhere at least. Wow, how does the day countdown feature work? I suppose Casio must want to have a unique selling point for Baby-G’s. I wonder if there’s options out there to re-skin Baby-G’s into G-shocks? 🤔

@@goatreviews For the day countdown feature you just hit the mode button until you reach the countdown. Then you hold the adjust button and simply set the date you want to countdown to. Press the adjust button once to set it and whenever you go to the countdown mode it tells you how many days until the date you set. You can set multiple different countdowns. You can also label each one with letters, for example (birthday, anniversary, or anything you may want it to say). It’s such a simple thing but I like the potential uses for it when you want a reminder of upcoming events.

My daughter has a BA-130-7A1 analog/digital BABY-G. Nice design, but the dial it's difficult to read to me; too small, too shining-bright pink. Of course she doesn't have this problem and I don't wear it 😄

That dark as heck LCD actually makes me more confident on my W-800H background modification. Old-school LCD's use such a mirror background, combined with white light scattering digits. As showcased in kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3i0gop_l6lgpK8 ,this being an amazing series on LCD tech with beautiful cinematography of very crude handiwork. The second part of which inspired me for the printed background idea.
