I Bought Pigeons and a New Homing Pigeon Loft!!!

Hi Jordan, more pigeons at the auction, Jordan??? The pigeon loft you bought,when you drop the board at the top of the loft, it's called a landing board. At the back of it there should be some bob wires so the birds can get in but they can't get out again when they've come back from a race or a fly around. We love the tour around the farm. I raise tipplers. You can rehome them but you want them to stay in a while before letting out. They’re my favorite breed of pigeon because they fly really high and for hours. Nice pickup.

I would suggest get a pair or Iranian high flyer or Pakistani high flyers. Used to have them and would fly till they almost disappeared.

Yes! Jordan that a roller kit boxes ,each box should contain 20 perches in each box.They have mesh wire floors that's great for not having to clean floors. Oh and they trap in from the top landing board. NICE..

Pigeon content!!! I really like the kit box! Looks very well built. A little old, but functional. Just because you asked… Drop the tipplers and get just get racing pigeons. You can separate cocks and hens and a section for young birds and race them!

Jordan pair up the tipplers and fly the baby's,wow they fly very high and fly for hours if trained well.(YES ROLLERS AND TIPPLERS USE THE KIT BOXES).I'm glad you got rollers and tipplers.

The loft on the trailer looks like kit boxes for rollers. Homers will adapt. Here in Idaho we don't have a lot of choices in breeds. I am competing next month in the World Cup with rollers, then in the fall with the Nationals. Fun sport and hobby!!! Enjoy the video's.

Indian Fantail pigeons don't have as many health issues as american fantails. American fantails are bred to keep their heads cocked back as far as they can go so come breeding season, a lot of times American fantails can't feed their young because they're constantly keeping posture. Indian fantails on the other hand don't have that issue and can position their heads anywhere they like not to mention they're a lot prettier.

Why don't you put a trap in the window of the barn so the racing pigeons can get out and fly around might lose a few but it would be a lot for the health of the pigeons also put a false roof in the section about 7 foot high so you can control them
