Sir Die-hard fan from 3 years First of all HAPPY belated TEACHER'S DAY YOU ARE ONE OF THE GURU I WANNA THANK .... following you from 3+ years. Sir just confirm my 3 doubts of Swing trading. 1. If Nifty is trending, i look for pattern breakout in stocks and go long. - OK/NOT OK 2. If Nifty is consolidating in a range What should i do Option 1- look for stocks in consolidation and buy low/support and sell at high/resistance. Option 2- no need to worry you can take pattern breakout trade they will work despite NIFTY consolidating. 3. If Nifty is trending down stay away from swing trading- stock breakout will fail as trend is opposite
