Nice looking old hp machine! Looks like it came from my neck of the woods Bill Smith Equipment on Minooka Rd. I drive past there almost daily for work he gets in alot of pretty nice old iron. Look forward to seeing the restoration I know you will do it up right 👍

Yep ur correct. I originally wanted a 7080 he had but it sold before I got there so he said come look at 7580 4wd and in the back of his barn down the road I found the 8550. It wasn't forsale but ya know everything is forsale lol. Thanks for the comment 👍

Great find?! Cherish it like no other not many of them left around anymore sadly. What size is your shop? Im liking the layout of the doors needing ideas for my own building any tips or ideas are very beneficial.
@rgfarmsrepair503Ай бұрын
The heated area is 60' wide by 72' deep. The entire building is 60x120. My advice would be go as tall as possible. I have 16' ceiling wish it was atleast 18'. Thanks for the comment.
@daltonmortenson5813Ай бұрын
@@rgfarmsrepair503 we were thinking minimum of 16' side walls on ours. Do you feel like your doors aren't big enough anymore?

Thanks I might need to take you up on that. Funny thing I found bunker hill cables last night looking up the throttle cable.

@@rgfarmsrepair503 way cheaper than agco. New cables around on all make the world of difference on them old critters. Especially the shifting one's.

Yeah those need some attention they move pretty decent but I'm definitely going to change them. The truck driver was grinding the hell out of it because he didn't really know how that crazy system works. Not sure what that allis engineer was thinking lol
