Man that's a cool van the old Aerosmith van! Can't believe when they found it it still had the original hand-painted "keep on truckin'" style mural on the side! Such a cool find! I heard the band actually paid to have that van restored and bought it back.

That is a neat ol Chevrolet van! Funny knowing it left the factory with '55/'56 Chev dash and hood emblem, with a 47-53 Chevy grill! Chevrolet made lots of awesome "mixed matched" years Chevrolet trucks in Brazil for the South American market!

Neat old bread truck. Saw one a few years ago at an outdoor bicycle show in Brantford On. It had the same scruffy paint as yours but was a couple of years newer, It had a flatter face with included turn signals....maybe a '60 or so, would be my guess. Nice dog, include her more.

I believe his truck is probably a '55...it has the 55-57 or so instrument cluster, 55-56 hubcaps, but what really makes me think it is a 55 is the 55 style hood ornament....

Years and years ago, we were at Storage auction and they had sold the contents of one storage unit come to find out it should’ve never been sold. The guy had been up on his payment. And I was going in to pay and he was in there in a rage. The poor auctioneer was only doing what the storage company wanted and it was the Storage Company’s fault that they had included his unit. The people who had bought it and already loaded more than half, and they had no idea what was going on other than the fact they bought a unit and it was now theirs. I know the storage unit we bought had a bunch of drug paraphernalia and it didn’t take long for that find the dumpster.

A small but still quite nice auction. Nice that you were able to buy that old Van, or actually were the highest bidder. And yes, if you want something badly, it's usually not that hard to get it too. Old signs can be worth an incredible amount of money. I wouldn't sell them either, just hang them up nicely in your shop. And don't feel guilty about those signs. They were offered for sale, and you bought them. Maybe next time you should apply some kind of (removable) marking, just like you do on cars. Those mirrors on your truck, are they retractable? They seemed so far out to me. And what a cute dog you have there. What's his (or her) name? Well, thanks again for the nice video you made for us, I enjoyed it, which I always do. Water level also depends upon water release for power generation or whatever. Also, reservoirs will hold minimal water at this time of year in anticipation of the winter storms.

There is no power generation there. The boat docks are sitting on dry ground at the moment it is so low. The largest city in Kansas depends on it for drinking water, so there are a lot of very worried people right now. We get very little snow here so winter storms aren't really an issue either.

Your dog is awesome. I always try to be the guy our dog thinks I am. I’m happy that misunderstanding worked out on the signs. I had a 66 Chevy step van we used to move to Colorado from Massachusetts. Later I fitted it out as a camping rig. The grill in yours looks like the old late 40s to early mid 50s GMC trucks

I bet that this beautiful Chevy panel truck would be a perfect vehicle for Sleeperdude. Selling their merch out of this bus at oldtimer meetings etc. would be really cool. The 261 cui 6 cylinder inline engine is even strong enough to tow a trailer/vehicle. Maybe it's a good idea to contact them.

I've had more than my share of drama at auctions. I rarely go anymore. I have a coworker who still goes to look for things they can "ebay". They said you pretty much have to have a team anymore, and as soon it sells to you, have one of your people pick it up and load it right then and there before anyone can interfere.

I went to one and bought a 1975 Ford F-150 Explorer. I paid for $20 for it as nobody was bidding on it and as the auction ended someone decided to stack all the scrap that didn’t sell on it and around it for the scrap guy to come get. I was so ticked off that I lost that truck because it had little to no rust on it and all the trim was all in good shape including the interior. I wanted to get it out to see if I could have got it running again. But I figured I would have plenty of good parts to sell. But after the sale the truck was destroyed before I even got to get the truck out. I also had bought a 68 Crew cab truck that had new old oem parts that were in the back of it and I removed that truck first so I didn’t lose the parts.

As busy as you keep yourself Silas, I only dream of answers to a question on my mind. 1957 ford Fairlane two door hardtop. I got one in 1962 and it was in perfect condition. It was only five years old and parked inside homeowners garage/home. It needed a fuel pump as the one on it at only seven thousand miles quit. Put yourself at a age of just moving hurts, so replacing a fuel pump although a very easy job on these cars... too much for a challenged person. Okay to get to the point, somewhere in those yards where its just waiting must be a 57 ford two door hardtop that is repairable and able to be fixed for less than the price of ten new cars. I am too old, and too poor to ever own one again, but knowing someone might find one and keep it in some kind of decent shape would sure soothe the heart a touch. I am that old person who you go to their estate sale and ask..."Why would anyone put sockets in this tiny box along with fuel fitting, some little 'smalls' inside the box that says bandaids"? Truth is I want to mail it to a youtuber and I don't know how to get it to a shipping point or even how to find their address for sure. I have a ton of questions but this comment is too long now

Those old Dairy signs are cool & sometimes valuable as well ,i found both old Weissglass milk jugs ,a actual Weissglass metal milkcrate & found one of those old metal & porcelain Weissglass milk signs, the only other one i found online was in Australia & the seller wanted over $1000 for it ,i found all mine in the woods where once a house & building once stood for free 😉 what makes the old Weissglass milk stuffs valuable is that they once built a old stockcar track in Staten Island NYC once & sponsored the races 🏁& car culture many decades ago
