Does your g19 have the half moon cut?

So I installed this on my Gen 5 G19 (no half moon cut) and it slipped right on and locked into place quickly with no problem and tightened the screw down and it feels solid I might add some locktite just to make sure it doesn’t unscrew also they fit with shield arms plus 5 baseplate with minimal modification to the baseplate (I just had to lower the pin that holds the shield arms baseplate to the magazine) No grinding down material needed however If you have large hands your grip fingers might get too smushed as the magwell has a aggressive pinky groove that sits well with small-medium hands like mine 10/10 recommend for the price no complains at all

I got one for the G19 gen 4, and It's kind of less than perfect for sure. It didn't want to thread, but I finally got it to but because of the very small amount of plug insertion it could easily be ripped off especially if someone was fighting for your gun. I had to tighten it WAY more than recommended, and it STILL has a little wiggle to it. If they put a little more metal in the plug end so that it would go up a little further it wouldn't have that wiggle. Not sure how the gen 5's plug works, but for gen 4's it's a little flimsy. I'm keeping it on for now, but it does not instill confidence in fight for gun situations.

I have not tried that, but to my knowledge, it should work with mag extensions.

So it won’t fit with the beaver tail back strap for sure? And how is it holding up?

I ended up cutting the beaver tail down to just the top half. And it is actually holding up pretty well. I’ve run it at the range live firing, dry firing and in competition and I’m pretty impressed with it.

I got one for a gen 3 build for $13, it fits well but I can't get the mags to seat. All the mags I have are gen 5 mags, don't know if that makes a difference. I'm going to do a little work with a file to see if taking some material off the inside will help the mags seat because I like the feel, fit, and look.

@@BrotherInArms6 I did but it was still kind of rough, so I just put it on a Glock OEM gen 3 frame opposed to a P80 and it fits perfect, mags drop right out.

@@Floridaman1780_ Ahh okay. Yeah I’ve heard that sometimes those p80 frames can be finicky but I haven’t personally had experience with them
