$16,700 is not unusual for those miles. There are plenty of lower mileage/better condition specimens out there to drop the price on ones like this. Plus the market is trending down a little on these, regardless of miles. Welcome to the club, once you have one, you'll always have one. I'm on my second because I sold my first and never got over it. Oh, and 500 crank hp isn't going to be enough - Cobra owners are notorious for never being satisfied with their power numbers. When you have a power plant that has the potential to put out 1000+hp, you tend to want to test the limits.

Looks like a great buy bro! I did a very careful build on my 01 cobra with the IRS to be my weekend/HPDE car. I'm sure you probably have your mod list sorted out but this is what I did with the suspension and I absolutely love it. - Coilover kit from MM with adjustable tie rod ends for front - Full Tilt Boogie Racing IRS kit to replace the IRS bushings and get rid of the wheel hop. Get it with the milled ford racing diff cover for easy diff fluid changes, durability, and to align the pinion angle. When you fix your leaky diff this is the move bro. - Weld in sub frame connectors (I did stifflers full web brace) - Other bushings (A arm, sway bar, steering rack, drivetrain) swapped out for prothane - 295 square extreme contact force for the track ofc Side note, you may be experiencing the infamous cobra clunk on deceleration, we all have it lol. Nothing to worry about. There is a lot of play from the factory in the rear diff/axles and from the IRS geometry. The IRS kit will tighten it up as much as possible though.

The driveline feeling like its catching up with itself is a cobra thing. Usually called the "cobra clunk". It's a combination of tolerances leading to a sloppy feeling, and every car is different. Tightening everything up with new mounts and IRS bushings helps, but some cars never really get rid of it. The biggest culprits and easiest fixes are making sure it has the correct diameter (ford f'd up) bolts (and firmer bushings) in the forward IRS mounting points in the torqueboxes. Along with swapping all the bushings that the pumpkin sits in front and rear, so the diff is mounted as solid as possible.

Congrats on the Termy. I also seen it listed and thought about it briefly to match my black 10th anniv Cobra coupe BUT the thought of a fuel system, Whipple, solid axle swap etc etc 💰 💴 made me look away quickly 😆. I also have a fox body for that stuff 🤠. Good luck with the car and I can tell you that I never see them in 🇨🇦 especially a 10th Anniv. I’m gonna follow along and watch you make it yours and hopefully enjoy the hell out of it! 👍

Awesome thank you. Several people left comments that they saw it. I jumped on it

Similar story with my recently purchased GT lol, thought it was valve cover but turned into timing cover, not fun! Excited to see this build

Nothing sounds better than a Terminator supercharger whine. I will own one some day.

Would love more videos of the Raptor. Contemplating a Gen 1 Raptor in the future.
