I own the saiyin sound bar, it was £50 for a 24” sound bar and it comes with a subwoofer and remote. For the price and what you get, it’s a really good chocie for those with not alot of money to waste on a speaker!

Interesting. Good to review such a popular product and see if the hype is real. I mean...I'm not gonna buy it, but good on ya.

I like this different take from your usual videos. May i recommend you looking into the Panasonic Soundslayer. It’s a small 17inch 2.1 sound bar with the subwoofer actually built it. I personally have it for a small space and i was surprised by the sound given i wasn’t expecting much from it.

Not sure if I’ll do a specific video on that one but I do plan to look at more systems in the under $200 price range! Glad you enjoyed the video!

I tried the Panasonic and it is amazing for its size. Crystal clear vocals and nice response from the built-in subwoofer I gave it to my friend to use and he’s really happy with it. Panasonic always makes great products too bad we can’t get the TVs here.

Great review! I would consider buying it but I'm leaning more towards a 5.1 system in a box like the Logitech Z506 but since I'm completely new to this, i don't know if this would be a good choice now and i don't know how to get 5.1 audio to it from my laptop which doesn't have the appropriate surround outputs or optical. Can you suggest something that would do the job?

You can get USB sound cards for surround sound.

I started thinking of buying a decent sounbar this year, but i still don't know what to do. Right now i'm using Jamo A 101 HCS 5 HOME CINEMA SYSTEM ( with Jamo SUB 210 SUBWOOFER, because the original subwoofer died after 4 or 5 years of use ) and Denon AVR-1612 5.1-channel HD-Audio Receiver. The receiver gets audio from my PC or from my TV through Ex-Pro Professional Optical TOSlink SPDIF switch. My idea would be to have a soundbar that could be mounted in a central position between my PC and my TV , with different profiles for each of them ( using PC and TV from different locations in my room ). Any suggestion ? Thanks!

LOL you are complaining of no centre channel, well what do you expect, it's a 2.1, it would not be a 2.1 soundbar if it had a centre channel, it would be a 3.1. You would get better voice quality if you enabled 2.1 audio from whatever source you are listening to instead of 5.1, if you are listening to 5.1 content on 2.1, you might not get the desired results, remember this is a 2.1, it should not perform worse than a standard 2 speaker setup, providing you configure your sound settings to 2/2.1 stereo output and NOT surround 5.1/7.1.

Good point. I don't run it for very long at all though. Going to install some additional fans in the entertainment center to disperse the heat better.

If, one is going to do a review, at least demonstrate the product; let us decide the sound quality. What you hear and like, is totally different than others! Even taking into consideration were not in the same room as you; one can still get a general idea of sound, volume, etc..!!! Terrible review, IMHO; enough said!
