We use Roku to Stream all our shows. I HATE commercials and so we pay to not have to subject ourselves to that. The speakers on our TV started going out but the picture was still awesome. The sound Bar in our new to us RV wasn't getting any sound so I assumed it was what was bad since we never heard any sound coming out of it. So, I bought a new sound bar. Got it hooked up and still had NO sound. Checked to make sure the CEC was on and still no sound. Checked to see if what the CEC was seeing connected and it showed the sound bar and our Roku deluxe sound bar!!! What the hell. After much research and frustration I decided to unplug the Roku deluxe device and leave the soundbar connected to the HDMI ARC connection. I have two simple Roku devices and connected one up in place of the Roku deluxe. Low and behold.....we have sound out of the sound bar. Now we don't have to put up with the bad speakers. Hope this helps anyone else having issues while streaming with your devices!

This dude is so clueless, amp do have a volume control. Power amps mostly don't and you need a pre amp to run it. Main amps always have source sellect, power amps don't, a tuner amp is an amp that has a radio. Come on dude, if you're going to make a video do the research.

If you please, sir, help me to connect my Hi-RES floor-standing ACTIVE-SPEAKERS, I NEED Digital Hi-RES AUDIO signal prosessing, no LOOOOOOOSEEEEER "RCA Line-In" to Active Speakers suggestion please. How can I connect my ACTIVE SPEAKERS (2.1. sterio with subwoofer) from a DIGITAL OUTPUT going out from Sony TA-AN1000 and into my ACTIVE SPEAKER's DIGITAL-INPUT PORT (HDMI EARC 2.1, or OPTICAL TOSLINK)
@Jpee1234 күн бұрын
I tried both, and to me they both sound the same, the only reason sticking to HDMI, is for remote control, with digital optical you have to use 2 remotes, im just not doing that lol good video

Thank you for your video, and I have a question. If your soundbar only has one extra HDMI and I want to have more for other devices hooked up, can I add plug in an HDMI adapter to the HDMI on the soundbar which then would give my three HDMI ports and I can plug in other devices?

You know, all of this sounds good and Cray. Except when you live in an apartment and you can't just go installing anything in the wall. They barely let you mount the TV on the wall.

Help! I have an LG Oled with a Samsung harman/kardon soundbar. Everything worked perfectly for a year, changed nothing, one day it’s playing sound from the tv speakers instead of the soundbar- and when I select hdmi arc, the mute icon appears on the tv screen and no sound from the soundbar (even though I can adjust the level on the soundbar) Unplugging the soundbar and replugging while the tv is on makes it work, BUT only during that session. Once I turn the tv off and then back on later, the same thing occurs.

Any reason that a soundbar suddenly starts "buzzing" and you can only stop it by pushing the electric plug into the back more firmly to get it to stop?? Then it starts buzzing again, with static? It's a VEATOOL from Walmart, so it was cheap to start with, but I'd like it to work.

Right, so, initially i was a hater of soundbars and wireless subwoofers and for years i had my 5.2 (yea, 2 subwoofers :) ) surround system that still works fine till this day. Couple of months ago, i moved into an apartment and the previous owner left me an LG smart tv in the bedroom and i tried to watch a couple of shows on Netflix and Amazon. The sound quality of that tv can't even be called rubbish.. So, of course, i didn't want to invest in another surround system + to deal with the cables and thus, a soundbar 2.1 appeared. I know it's not a fair comparison with the 5.2; but hear me out; that sound bar thing is not terrible, especially with these AI features that check and adjust the sound. My Bedroom tv went from unwatchable to enjoyable. So yes, i get those that like soundbars; i've installed mine in 5 minutes and configured the settings in a few seconds; where as with my 5.2 sour round, i spent a few days with cable management and fitting stuff back together so that everything looks and works fine. In conclusion, if you're not a nerd with Sennheiser's, Hifiman, headphone amps and other crazy stuff, just go with the soundbar; you'll thank me in the end

It really all depends on what you have the room and budget for. I bought the Roku surround sound system (Roku Streambar Pro, 2x wireless speakers and 10-inch subwoofer) and I think it sounds pretty nice. I spent quite a bit of money on it but it's still cheaper than if I would have bought a receiver and good quality components. I also didn't want to have to run wiring. That said, in a large room, doubt that a soundbar would really sound as good as a dedicated amp and separates system. So yeah, I don't hate them either. It's all about what fits your needs, but I do think some are wildly overpriced. Alot of these soundbar setups are getting much better than what they used to be.

FWIW, I do have a pair of Sennheiser headphones but they're just HD598SE's, nothing spectacular. I liked them more than Audio Technica ATH-M50s because they were more comfortable.

Not worth the price tag selling for $1700 at Best Buy Canadian. I can buy a Onkyo HT-S5910 Dolby Atmos 5.1.2-Channel Home Theater Package, Black with up firing speakers for only $700 so why would anyone pay $1700 for sound bar with stupid speakers that don’t last more than 2 hours then has to be charged what a joke JBL failed big time on this one

new subscriber,... can my new 2024 TCL smart tv (earc) send sound to my Yamaha recever that is 10 years old,,, my Yamaha has 4 HDMI inputs and one out
@stonesfan28511 күн бұрын
It depends on your room size and budget imo. I watch a lot of movies, have a Roku surround setup and am pretty happy with it. It was a lot cheaper than a full blown speaker setup too.

I have a soundbar connected via earc and I have had 0 issues. I just got an Apple TV 4K and now the first time I turn the tv on each day, the soundbar light turns on but it isn’t actually connected and my tv doesn’t even recognize it. The only solution I’ve found is to disconnect the hdmi ports and tv. I shouldn’t have to do that every single day. Any way around it??? Otherwise I’ll just send it back and get my money back.

Question I have an outstanding Rotel RSX-1067. Ithas pre-amp in. So 5.1 from a blu ray is not an issue. For Streaming I can use Toslink to send a stero signal from the TV to the Rotel. I wish there was a way of getting even 5.1. You say there is. I have only been able to get 2 channel from the TV. any suggestions? Thanks Mostly stremaing youtube videos.

It depends what you have room for. I think a receiver and speakers (2.1 or 3.1) are going to cost you a little more. I am happy enough with a soundbar. I have the Roku one that came with a subwoofer and two rear speakers. It does okay. I mean the receiver you mentioned is $900. I could spent 1/3 of that for my Roku setup and it sounds great. You can get cheaper Sony receivers too. I still have an STR-DH590 that I use to run speakers in my office.

trying everything here. nothing works. samsung tv, samsung soundbar, dtv set top box. The soundbar's instructions have me connecting the DTV arc to the Soundbar arc, and then the other soundbar hdmi out to tv. The problem is two fold: First, when the whole thing is powered down, the TV turns back on. Second, when i switch to another TV input, like the apps page to watch a streaming app, the soundbar ARC overrides it and changes the input back to it's HDMI. Anyone have a similar problem and are there any known solutions?
