My shiny that I was determined to get in the Dynamax Adventures was Necrozma, which took quite a while, even with the shiny charm. My biggest issue was when I took quick breaks in my hunt to try out different legendaries. I got Tapu Bulu, Tapu Fini and Lunala within 3 encounters each...

Shiny raid hunting can either make you feel vert lucky or very unlucky. For instance, I'm over 100 raids for my shiny Tapu Lele, whereas it took me 50 for my shiny Buzzwole, 16 for shiny Mewtwo, 36 for shiny Tapu Fini, and 8 for shiny Tapu Bulu. But the luckiest I gotten with raids was when I did 4 raids for a shiny Latias, BEFORE I had the shiny charm. The luck of the dice I guess. EDIT: I finally got my shiny Tapu Lele after 148 raids. I wanted to catch it in a Love Ball, but I didn't know this raid was gonna be the one, so it's in a Luxury Ball. Still, I'm very grateful. Also caught a shiny Xurkitree in Ultra Sun after 24 hours and over 4000 resets.

My best suggestion is to hunt them in a different game, like in Ultra Sun, get the shiny charm, and soft reset the old fashion way. Other than that I dunno. I had my shiny Rayquaza from an old event tho.

I got the dlc just for shiny pheromosa, i finally got her after a month and I was thinking of hunting buzzwole but tbh the raids are so long and I don’t have the patience for it. Hopefully the legendaries will be available to shiny hunt in a less time consuming way in scarlet and violet.

Literally did the exact same thing but for ultra moon and went for guzzlord after getting a shiny pheromosa, took awhile but even with worse shiny odds than the raids it didn't take as long as I thought, got the shiny guzzlord too. I never knew that usually the sequel/in-between/dlc to the main pokemon games have a way to get most legendaries that can be shiny but I can only assume will get another thing like that similar in scarlet and violet but in a dlc or something.

I ripped the tendons in one of my fingers in school and had to take the next few days off, so I decided to shiny hunt Lugia as Pokémon was the only game with a one-handed mode. Thankfully an online friend helped me get the shiny charm so I got it within around 20 runs! Ended getting a shiny palkia in around the same length too! (I have had exactly 0 luck in any of my shiny hunts after that)
