Yeah basically shits and pisses with no giggles lol. I will say though, I read somewhere that low level heavy metal detoxification can be aided by some foods like cilantro. Idk how helpful it is though. Also, you can overdose and build too much of fat soluble vitamins which will tax the liver and may even need medical treatment for so be careful with those %10000000000 rda vit c vitamins! Exaggerating but seriously you don't need much over %100 daily value unless you have a certain medical condition that calls for it.

I mean you are right that its probably pointless, but not right in your logic. I believe the idea is that it helps them grow in stronger, so *if* it actually worked by the first month you would see it had grown in better and look nicer. Then you would keep buying their product because it only works if you use it constantly. But it probably doesn't do anything noticeable so this whole thing is null anyway.

The lash serums that actually work do so by kind of slowing your lash growth cycle. Your lashes "hang on" longer, and don't fall out when they're "supposed to", so because they keep growing but don't fall out you have longer lashes overall. It's a really simple concept.

I used a similar product about 7 years ago, and it worked wonders for me and my mom. My mom's lashes literally grew like 3mm. You have to use it constantly though, cause lashes do shed. I wouldn't recommend those products though, they say they can damage your eyes and affect your vision after prolonged use.

I have so much admiration for the work that goes into these videos. A lot of youtubers are just lazy people who got lucky, but Safiya really works hard. Just the sheer fact that she keeps to a regular schedule while balancing weird ass experiment lengths and shipping times is incredible!! Like I've been watching youtubers regularly since I was about 10 (I'm 19, so nearly half my life) and this level of work ethic combined with actual creativity and thought is truly rare. Also: I think she's pretty talented with her diction and that's never something I've seen discussed. She's clearly an intelligent young woman and I wish there were more youtubers like her for me to see when I was younger, especially as a brown girl.

Yes! I especially thought this at the teeth whitening scene because teeth aren’t supposed to be white!!! They are yellowish (and to be honest Safs teeth weren’t really yellow in the first place) because they are literal bones that you use to cut foods in your mouth! It’s a protection layer so the bones don’t get hurt but rather the protection aaarrghh. As if the bones inside of your body are white too😭 our body especially mouth has special protections for the teeth too like before you throw up your body produces a special kind of saliva to protect your teeth from getting hurt from your gastric acid. for anyone who may be reading this: try using castor oil instead of those expensive queen pegasus things. just put a drop of castor oil on your fingers and gently massage into your lashes before going to sleep. it does feel a bit weird and everything looks a bit cloudy, but it's not harmful if a little bit gets into your eyes and you won't notice it because you'll be asleep anyway :)

I don’t know if you’ll ever see this or if you are planning on to continue to use the whitener for your teeth, but here are some directions on how to properly use them since they didn’t give out any. 1. The “pair of two trays” are suppose to be dipped into hot water and be left there for at least 30seconds. Immediately after taking the trays out of the water put them in your mouth and bite down. This will take the shape of your teeth 2. The syringes are suppose to be placed directly on your teeth. Put a small dot on each tooth then place the tray over your teeth. 3. Lastly, you don’t have to hold the lights. Close your mouth then put the lights in front of your teeth. Then you can simply just wrap your lips around it Hope that helps!! 😊

Leaving buzzfeed does not go well for everybody since making videos alone without a company to back you up would be very hard work. Im so happy you managed to gain more popularity for ur own channel bc you really put alot of effort into it. The issue with tooth whiteners is that we tend to forget pretty quickly over time where a dentist may have filled in a small cavity or even a crack or pit to prevent it becoming a cavity and often mention it in passing or not mention it at all and then the whitening process discolors what they used. They would have matched it to the tooth color at the time and many dental fillers either change to a color like a tea stain and suddenly appear when an over the counter whitener is used. This is why its always better to have a dentist whiten your teeth as they look for spots like that first and/or can correct them to match the new whitened color of the teeth. Its almost certain if you suddenly have a spot appear that is either not whitening with the rest of the enamel or suddenly looks off white or like a light tea stain you had some dental work there are one time or your enamel wore off there.

Also, the whitening containers she got have no shape so the gel just flows everywhere making it quite dangerous as its soooo easy to burn your gums ( it's peroxide after all) dentist take moulds of your teeth so the containers fit you perfectly and the gel stays in the container!!!
