It’s kinda funny how the rule is low owners and no stories for a good, used car in general. Whereas Ed’s ‘way’ is like the total opposite. Nothing scares this guy as far as car histories go. Very entertaining to hear, and he gets a great price for his cars (great tastes btw) but not the thing to follow if your looking to buy a used exotic. Unless you have 50% to invest in the total cost of paid price for repairs, it’s not a smart way to buy. DIY’s with parts at costs is the only way. (For maintaining exotic used cars ie. V12’s especially). Ed’s still cool either way. Every car he has owned is a car I would own too. 993S, S65, 6-spd Murci and Cannonball Mercs are my favourite of em all.

When you live and work with an Iranian expat in Toronto you find that they are the nicest people you could ever imagine. They also describe living in their country of origin as very different from how it is understood in the west. Think about it. They have some crazy political and religious leaders that get all the press. That does not describe the ordinary people on the street. Let me think... where else have I seen crazy political leaders and some wack a doodle religious zelots that want to kill innocent people. DJ Trump... DJTJr... Steven Miller.... If you are a big time criminal, with lots of cash to launder; Canada is the place it seems. Multicultural and low sentences. Anyone can blend in here. There are more underground millionaires in B.C than ‘legal millionaires’ there. It’s been like that for decades. The bad part is that a single 3 bedroom 2 bath single car garage is 1 million plus. Seeing a new Huracan or Range Rover with big ‘New Driver’ stickers in the rear window is common in some parts of Van. The criminals have bought up all the real estate in Metro Vancouver that it’s impossible for a ‘legit’ person to afford a home. It’s getting more expensive every year too. Crime pays and money does grow on trees here. An old but very true saying here. Good or bad, it’s the truth unfortunately.

The car scene here is one of the best in the world despite the fact it's well, Canada, cold climate & snow doesn't usually mix with cars although it does in BC for some reason, Due to the car scene here it brings many cars with many backstories like this & because of that there's many automotive historians here who find the same stories you do fascinating, like myself, I've heard about this backstory many times with all different images added within.
