Nobody thought of using ink to write/print until late 2006 when Jeff Kinney released his hit classic novel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. It started selling so well that he had to find a way to mass produce it-stone carving was too slow and electrically inefficient, and thermal printing was legally restricted to receipts until 2021.

The Flexi Frame isn't a scam. I've seen KZbin shorts on it breaking from sharp objects suck as a knife, and the said "No sh!t it can't take a knife! The inkless printer is nothing special, you're right. I got mine for 10 USD here in the Philippines. Even the thermal paper or thermal sticker refills are insanely cheap! I find it super useful. There are even ones that print on sticky notes (like Post-Its). But I just hate that there are too many brands that overprice them.

7:21 for those who don’t know, a inkless printer is totally posible, there are one specific kinds of printers named thermal printer and is use hot temperature to print instead of ink, you can normally see it in stores and places when you are supposed to get a receipt for something because that is the exact printer that they use! The only flaw these have is that the impression will lose quality with the time losing opacity over the months and years so yeah! Also they use a very specific kind of paper and are refillable

Inkless printing is actually really old. Cash registers use it to print out your tickets. They have a roll of black paper with a white layer over the top that comes off when heated, letting the black come through. So technically the paper is already printed but you remove a layer of the top to show what text or image you want to be on there.
