I like the fact that this truck isn't extremely popular. You don't see them every day on the road, which is really cool. Not everyone is driving them all over the place like F150's. I'm currently looking to purchase one for the Nissan reliability. I'd like to purchase the diesel version but they are hard to find used.

Awesome buy man, thanks for the video. I have owned a couple of Titans, never an issue. I'll be buying a newer model here in a few months. It's difficult finding reviews on trucks that aren't primarily concerned about the "tech". I'm not as concerned with Apple Car play and heated steering wheel as I am with the bones of the truck. Love what you've done with this thing, very inspirational. Thanks!

Bro..you bought a damn good truck. I got a 2017 Titan Platinum Reserve and I love it! Titans are really good long lasting trucks. Think about it, how many titans have you seen broke down in the side of the road? You hardly ever see one on a secondary type car lot. You know why?, because the 2004's are still on the road! You get good deals on them now because of the competition. Trust me, you bought a long lasting tough truck..just enjoy it

I picked up a leftover ‘18 a little over a month ago. Top of the line model for only 40k. Couldn’t touch the price in any other brand and the warranty is awesome. Most people that complain about them have never owned one. And I could care less what their opinion is, I’m more concerned with facts. Most owners have nothing but good things to say. I bought a brand new ‘08 model when they came out and that was a great truck. I have no doubt this one will be too.

He bought the 2nd most reliable full sized truck. Tundra 5.7 is number 1. That thing can hit a million miles on original parts. HOWEVER with the new TTv6 Tundra, then now the Titan 5.6 goes to number 1. Only time will tell if the new Turbo Tundra can be number 1 reliable which with Turbo is going to be hard to achieve.

Hqen2000 Congrats on the truck purchase. Now one thing I would definitely recommend. Is get a leveling kit to raise the vehicle up another 1in or a 32 ready lift to give a little more height so you can go through high water and not worry about water getting in the exhaust pipe. Oh and I would recommend a chrome delete on the vehicle as well.
@DadMods
@DadMods 5 жыл бұрын
Yeah i'm just not sure how to do a chrome delete I'm looking into what can be purchased. I'm not going to dip the emblems I'm wayyyyyyyyyyy too lazy for that. I need something easy. I really want a big lift at least a 6" but I want to make sure it's stable and everything so I'll go as big as I reasonably can. Fabtech has a 6" lift that seems ok, but I really don't know much about lifts and when I'm clueless I tend to try to buy the most expensive thing I can because thats often the least risky path lol. Since the fabtech is the most expensive that's what I'm looking at. I'd assume there is a reason they think they can charge more than the other 6" lifts.

My new 2020 nissan titan shakes at speed between 65 and 72mph. I put 2 sets of new tires on this thing and it still shakes. I had to buy the tires because Bayou nissan where I bought the truck nor the nissan corpation would replace them. Even though the truck had sit on their lot for over a year and I was told by another nissan dealership the tires had flat spots. I was told by the dealership, the tires were not under warranty. I was told Nissan Customer care it was normal for the truck to shake at those speed. What a ridiculous response. Now, I see why their sales are declining and they stopped trying to sell trucks in Canada.

Last August, I bought a truck, Titan 2017, SV PACKAGE, 15000 miles, but let me tell you, Ibam so happy, only that mine looks different, the screen and the AC is different, mine has steps, fog lights , bigger mirros, and mine, have the logo on the sides, on what engine it brings, I live in Colorado, and the 4WD system, IS INCREDIBLE, in summer, you can drive it in 2WD, and in winter 4x4, it is a big truck

I bought my 08 Titan in 2011 w/58K miles and it now has 248K. It has absolutely been THE most dependable vehicle I've ever owned - PERIOD. The only maintenance it's had is tires, brakes, oil changes, fuel pump (recall), and a power steering hose - that's it! It's like your Pilot though in that nobody else would assign value I would to it so in my driveway it will stay. Also like you I couldn't believe how little I paid for it considering other brands. Way underrated in my opinion especially with the addition of rear airbags w/on board compressor, heated front seats, long tube headers and Flowmaster 50 exhaust, dyno tuning, Pioneer touch screen head unit w/backup camera, Rockstar wheels, remote start alarm. Enjoy the new truck and mod to your heart's content while laughing all the way to the bank. Here's my dyno pull kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6bJmJmtjtVnhaM

Nice vid. Probably pretty stout with 310whp. But I hope I can be like you and get lots of miles from it. I figured even if it sucked I'd know how unreliable it is by the time the 100k warranty is over. I don't plan on any mods that would void the warranty.

i bought a 04 king cab with 76k miles on it for 8k recently and with the current state of the used truck market i might be able to flip it for some healthy profit. I swapped out the shit headers for JBAs and full exhaust and did a paint correction. the interior is minty and Im finishing up my diff breather. the market dictates my truck is valued over 12k now just based on condition and miles. These trucks are slept on. The only downside is the horrendous gas mileage

I think that's a 2017, my dad has a 2018 Titan Midnight Edition and the headlights and screen are different. All models in 2018 have an LED DRL line in the headlight housing and ours didn't have a third seat up front either.

The American brand trucks really do have a cult following. It does not matter to many people if they will be reliable or not, but because their family has owned ford, GM, Dodge for generations people go out and buy one too. The manufacturers know this VERY well and they can afford to take short cuts in quality and overprice their trucks. Its a sad reality that the quality in American vehicles has gone down over the years. But when foreign companies are making quality trucks for much cheaper why not give them a shot. Just my two cents. Great purchase and wish you lots of luck with the truck!

I have a 2020 Nissan Titan sv. Love it! From comfort, to the design, infotainment system, and just the drive. It is amazing! The only thing I regret is not getting the 4x4. Although the dealership wanted 6k more and I was like nahhh i dont even go off-roading. Big mistake. I should have spent the extra 6k lol overall I love the truck by far one of the best trucks I’ve ever owned.

Nice descent all around pickup truck. So are you going to sell the pilot then? I'm guessing this would basically be a replacement of it.
@DadMods
@DadMods 5 жыл бұрын
It's basically a replacement. I even took the carseats out of the pilot to put in the truck. But selling the pilot for almost nothing doesn't seem all that appealing when I can have it just sit there and do nothing and only cost me a little in insurance.
