So i have been modding this pad over this month, I would say it is 95% close to my local r1 pad rn, it is just i still need to adjust the leg levels of this pad because it still really high up .

what's wrong with your colombiastep pad? they seem on par with this brand
@JBLINK74 ай бұрын
@@nwate theres nothing wrong with pad at all. The sensors are like custom made. with that said it has like a button press vs just tapping on the panel and it throws me off at times. This is just a preference thing for me. I managed to change the sensors to actual ddr sensors and it works like a charm and a big difference when playing! Wish i could show you what i mean. The pad itself is great. I just want to have a closer feel to the arcade.
@nwate4 ай бұрын
@@JBLINK7 I know what you mean since I have a colombiastep pad. I also had to press pretty hard for the pad to register first, but all i had to do was tighten the screws more and the pads were as sensitive as the arcade. i hope the born2lead pads are better for you though.

@@ozurisa Try getting a welder to cut a little off the legs. When my pad needed two new threads to be made. The legs were to long to go in. He had cut some off.

@@patrickbateman00 i thought about that but couldn’t have time to doing it by myself, the pad is too heavy for me to lifting it up and remove the legs, i gotta need a day that my friends come again and help me with it

This pad looks amazing. Did you get the model with the arcade sensors or the fsr sensors?
@ozurisa3 ай бұрын
@@Blsnowball the default option, so i assume it is fsr. But i had to mod it to make it works better tho
@Blsnowball3 ай бұрын
do you know if the software it comes with allows the fsrs to be adjusted? The website doesn't really say any information about that which is odd since I feel like the best part about fsrs are that they can be adjusted through software. It'd be cool if it used something like teejusb software where it has a graphic to see the values of the fsr.

My DDR pad is basically constructed from the materials of the crate that this pad was shipped in. It shows how much of a piece of junk it is. X3 I like that this pad has countersunk screws. I wish that Konami would have that in their stock pads by now...

The installation position of each bar is based on the PIU standard, which is ridiculous. It is indeed a product that is reverse-engineered using PIU pad data. Doesn't the designer know the difference? Maybe he doesn't know how to play DDR.
