For me its a mix of art nouveau patterns, bunch of stained glass window designs, facts and stuff about old craftsmanship, art pieces that i use for inspiration to develop my own style and stuff like that. A lot of them steal them from popular Instagram models or either designer shops or small handmade shops. It shouldn’t be too hard to nab a photo and reverse image search it.

They usually take them from the original designer website. I had an Etsy shop where I sold my handmade dog clothes. I found a listing of one of my dog dresses on a website based in China. None of the fabrics are available anymore. I made that dog dress with heirloom sewing techniques and it was fully lined. They stole my listing title, all 10 photos, and my description word for word. I sell my cotton fabric dresses starting at $30. They were offering my dress for $20.99. No idea what you’d actually get, if anything, if you bought it from their website. It’s so frustrating for us that take time and effort to make dog dresses or people dresses with these companies that steal your designs.

Surprisingly, Some of these dresses actually are a decent start for potentially becoming something pretty! In college, half my desk was used to study and the other half had my sewing machine on it. I would tweak my clothing and skirts every week so it looked like a brand new outfit each weekend.

As a seamstress, I love and hate this video lol. It's so infuriating seeing these companies ripping off the original designs. But it truly shows how much the material and craftsmanship is worth. Paying for the cheapest fabric and under paying your workers will result in cheap clothes that will fall apart. You cannot expect good quality clothing for such a cheap price.

Love how this shows the reality of most of the online fancy clothing shopping experiences. The quality of the clothes is another thing. First of all, a lot of these dresses are literally designed for a very specific proportioned body of those models (which again might only be pretty on them in the photograph and not in reality). Like some of those cuts are just not meant to be on a dress of even a teensy weensy bit of curvy women, let alone the thick ones and forget the plus. Otherwise, they are just going to fit very awkwardly. And none of those dresses look comfortable too unless you have someone beside you at all times to notify you if you are flashing something lol. With the video content being the future, a pretty photograph isn't going to be convincing enough to buy a dress.

I guess is expensive to rent models, photographers and make the shoots from your dress if you are not a big chain. Also take into consideration she is just choosing dresses that will be most fun to see in a video without any regard to her body shape. Of course most of them will be horrible fit, they will be good fit only on skinny models - but most of them were ok with the price/quality - but the fit - that is never easy.

One of the most unrealistic things about online clothing vendors is the sizing. Even if you check the measurement charts on the site you know what you get is going to be at least 2 sizes too small.

Can any of these be returned? I’d love to know what these websites customer service says when confronted with these issues. I don’t think a lot of these dresses are cheap at all. $150+ for a dress IMO is pricey. You can find nice dresses at Macy’s or Dillard’s after prom season for under $100. If I purchased some of these for an event or prom I’d be so upset. I wouldn’t have a dress I could wear or the money to buy a new one. What these websites do is just plain wrong. Keep exposing them!

Some of the dresses, the dark gray ones, buy larger size and get them tailored. You are more curvy than a typical model. So you size up for it to fit you in your chest and your hips and they will fit. I think you should try Hebeos, you can order them by your measurements and give us a review… please? Love you

I went to my local mall there were a few stores that had a very nice dresses for very cheap. The only downside was you couldn’t return them only store credit or exchange. I walked out with three dresses for under $100. I’m sure if I bought those at regular price they would’ve been $500 or more

I think the only problem with the dresses is the models wearing it in the picture. Most of them have a different body shape, pretty sure for the pictures they adjust the dress for the models so it matches their body shape.

I don't know how i stumbled on to your channel but I'm so glad i did because this is exactly why i don't buy clothes online this has always been my experience. Now i can laugh at someone else doing it. I love how you just laugh it off but when you're buying something you really love in picture and then when you get it out so isn't what you thought you were going to get. I actually had that happen with a guitar i bought for my husband years ago. It was a nice acoustic like he wanted but when it came out was made for a little kid, turned out to be a starter guitar for a child. I was so pissed and embarrassed to give him what i thought would be great guitar for him.

You can use vinegar and baking soda on your wash, all your wash. It really works. I've taken grease out of a white blouse, twice! It leaves work pants and shirts really clean. They come out brighter and softer too. 1/2 to 3/4 cup baking soda and 3/4 to 1 cup vinegar per wash. You can rinse twice if you want to. I though that I would tell you since you get a lot of stained clothing on your buys. For really stained clothing put some straight on the stain and scrub or let it sit for a while. Then wash. I hope to save you some nice clothing because of stains. 🙂
