Regarding the Kim dress with the ‘cheap’ looking hems and stuff - real silk, like raw silk or whatever, is so sensitive being sewed or punctured (to do with the weave I think?) so it pretty much always puckers or bunches when it’s hemmed. They have to literally cut to fabric all in one and be careful with the sides, and then for the edges it’s honestly a prettier outcome to just fold the hems, press/steam them, and not try and put any stitches in. Honestly those sort of materials scare me

Silk is a fibre produced by silkworms and "the weave" is determined by the person who makes it into cloth. It's not that sensitive, it's an incredibly strong fibre. I've sewn thin silk and the main difference between it and other fabrics is that you need to adjust the tension and use a smaller needle, but that would be true of any thin, light fabric. I've owned plenty of silk shirts with properly finished hems and I certainly didn't have Kardashian money to spend on them.

I think the brand AreYouAmI is known for that style of leaving their hems unsewn and frayed, as I looked on the website and their dresses also appear to be unfinished, so I don't think that particular dress is Kim's fault, simply the look of the brand.

I really enjoy this series, but this video in particular. I think it helps me actually visualize what my style really is vs. what is trendy or only looks good on a specific body type. Is Leo feeling okay? He's not a peppy as usual. What i love the most about these videos is that you accessorize them how they do. This really makes the looks complete. I liked the first outfit on you as an everyday look. The color looked good with your skin tone. Sometimes you wear the outfits to the Cheesecake Factory. I def agree that it's useful to have a blueprint for outfits, even if you recreate them a little differently. I always take screenshots of outfits I like on celebs or models, or even clothing websites and try to recreate the whole thing head to toe instead of just one piece. Feels much more put together!
