I grudgingly ordered some underwear from SKIMS a while ago, because they’re one of the only brands that offer a size inclusive range in cotton modal. And to my chagrin? Goddamn, it’s quality product. I just grit my teeth and ignore I’m supporting Kim K when I order things.

I only wear a body by Victoria perfect shape bras. They have them in smooth all the way to extra lacy. Seems like similar shape and life. Been wearing only those for years now.

You totally have seamless push up bras from other brand such as Intimissimi, who is very known in Europe. Also it is without a underboob bone.

As much as I don't like Kim K, some of the skims products are not too bad. The nipple bra is not a bad product. I once watched someone reviewed it and stated that this would be good for those who had breast cancer and needed a mastectomy, to make them feel normal again with the look of symmetric breasts with the fake nipple. As a person who had Breast Cancer & had to have a bi-mastectomy with the removal of my nipple, the bra would make me feel more normal.

She probably has little to do with it all other than to ok the final designs. It's hundreds of not rich people that make skims. I love that it has a purpose for making women feel like themselves again after surgery, so I will keep all of that in mind as I browse the site and consider buying myself something. 😊

I read somewhere that the nipple bras actually serve a very niche market-breast cancer survivors. Many women who have survived breast cancer have had to have their breasts removed (nipples and all), and there aren’t many products on the market to really give them that confidence back. I’ve seen prosthetic nipples, tattoos. and silicone nipples that can be worn, but nothing like a bra that can be seamless under clothes but have that peakaboo affect. Say what you will about Kim Kardashian but she really knows how to leverage controversy for marketing. Now the product can survive even with such a specific target market; because people who may not need it for that reason will buy it for the trend.
