Absolutely. The truth is that the jewelry and watch market is full of frauds because it's easy to do compared to many other industries. I realize people turn their lives around but ex con to Beverly Hills with "x" amount of followers etc etc is a bit abrupt. I enjoyed some of his videos and followed but unfortunately sometimes things are too good to be true. She just returned from Rolex in Dallas for training and the instructor told the class that the Pepsi is NOT slated to be discontinued and the reason for inventory restraints is because they can produce 10X Black & Blue cerachrom bezels compared to Red & Blue. Apparently the issue with the Pepsi bezel is that they’re having trouble with the blue/red painting process so basically they’re getting a lot of rejects. In the meantime I hear they’re upping the production of the Batman inserts while they perfect the Pepsis. This was what my AD manager told me. So not discontinued, just temporarily halted. Imagine getting hold of one of those rejected ceramic bezels though, there might be some cool ones.

⁠@@WatchEricYes, absolutely. It seems though they needed to change the formulation red/blue is the only bezel made of aluminumoxide and not zirkoniumoxide like all the others. Rumors are the red color powder is not meeting new environmental standard (toxic) and needed to change, hence the issues. Another theory is that the long term strength is not as high as previously thought and it’s reformulated, another one is that source materials are currently sanctioned hard to get. We will never know.

The only lie is the comment where Eric says that he “doesn’t care if you watch this video or not.” People don’t go through the trouble of starting a KZbin channel or post a video and spend thousands on video equipment plus dedicate time to filming if they “don’t care.” Eric, I think many would agree that it’s safe to say that you care. Otherwise you wouldn’t be doing any of these videos. If your KZbin channel were to suddenly disappear, I believe you would still have a business. I believe you would still be able to make a good living. This is Miami, after all. I’ve had personal experience with all of these, so this is my perspective. I’m sure many can relate. I saw Eric’s live stream when Anthony pulled the marketing stunt and disappeared from KZbin. It was Roman’s live stream. My opinion: I saw it live and it was evident that Eric didn’t want to be there. He may have just done it for his friend. Eric immediately called out Anthony. He was brief and straight to the point. You can tell that he didn’t care about being on the live stream and he just wanted to stay away from the drama. Eric was being truthful when he said on this video that he wanted to distance himself from Anthony. Would I ever buy a watch from Eric? Yes Would I do my homework? Yes. Eric said that we all should. I would take every precaution available. Personally, I don’t know Eric. However, I would do my research whether I was hiring an attorney, getting medical treatment, buying a house, or purchasing a watch It’s unfair to judge just because someone was seen alongside 1 or 2 rotten apples. Yes, to a certain extent this is debatable and certainly depends on the offense we’re talking about. None of us would want to be judged if, let’s say, we have an idiot friend who makes a bad move and gets into legal troubles. Should we be considered unethical or immoral just because our friends are? It’s definitely a service to the public to expose the rotten apples in business so that they can stop harming and cheating the consumer, but we can’t judge everyone because of the bad deeds of the few that decide to burn the house down. No industry is exempt from the crooked cons. Don’t forget that people have families to feed. If you go into full attack mode, you’re being no different than Anthony. Eric has cojones. He’s been the only one from the industry to call out the B.S. Would I buy from Eric? Yes! He seems legit, passionate about the industry, and there’s no doubt that he’s pro! But, moral of the story: Always do your homework, not matter who you’re dealing with. If not, you can only blame yourself if shit hits the fan. Dale! ✌😎

Eric, I commend you sir. You’ve explained clearly why you haven’t said anything to date, and why you’re saying something now. And there’s a lot to be said for this. Fair play good sir. Now, some other grey market dealers should watch this and consider why they haven’t said anything, explained there views and actions etc. because frankly, they’re killing the market for themselves. It’s sad, but the end is nigh for those who don’t, won’t or can’t explain there position on this. My wife said the same thing early on, he's not right in the head when he showed how many self help books he glances over (20+), and not reads. Very Interesting! I kind of for now still like the markers on the older models look better. The thinned hour markers and subdials look a bit boring on the panda. The black dial just flows better in my opinion. As for the bezel I think it’s huge win with the metal around it.
