Hey Elle you should go buy "The Sims 4". It would be something entertaining for you to do in bed somedays. Trust me, I HATEEE video games but absoutely love The Sims. The goal of a haunted house is to make you cry, or at least scare you very badly. Think about haunted houses you've been to, you see people screaming and crying a lot, they probably thought she was just scared. Especially at Frightmare, I live very close to it and a lot of people can't finish the attraction. (You get your money back if you finish it, and if you can't you get nothing. It's so scary they make you sign a release before you start it because they're allowed to touch you.) So honestly, they probably thought she was just scared because of the attractions they have there.

Acknowledging that she's injured would only hurt the company running the attraction. I think that's their mentality that if they admit she's hurt, they might have witnesses making any future lawsuit stronger for Elle. It's quite possible this is the reason why she is choosing to keep the video private. I applaud her if she chooses to go that route. They should have shown concern for her. It's just so obvious that if they turn a blind eye that it would make things more difficult in her proving the injury occurring on their turf. Deny, deny, deny...that's how they work. There is so much corruption in todays society it's sickening. Hope she recovers 100% and that she can put this behind her but I don't doubt one bit that she is really upset about what this injury has taken from her.

I know exactly how she felt ,one time outside my house a pitbull attack me ,he didn't hurt me but he was jumping and jumping on me and I was kicking him but he kept jumping and he was mad ,some neighbors were watching and I was screaming for help and they didn't do anything ,i was so frustating that no one help finally I got in my house and start crying like crazy and told my family what happen It turn out the dog was from a friend of my neighbor that is why they didn't do anything to help by the time the police got there the dog owner was gone .

Lupie Housewife I know eh? Its horrible how they just want to protect their reputation and keep the attraction going. What if someone else gets hurt again out of the blue? I dont think people are so soul-less that they choose to ignore her injury. This is just sickening to me. You know by not acknowledging it, they are allowing Elle to win the case if she does decide to sue. She has video to prove what happened. If they did something at least they can say well things happen and we tried our best to help her out and stuff when she did get injured. Cuz even the most tested and safe attraction like a roller coaster and whatnot has a chance of failing even if its one in a million. So working at such place you should know, and if your boss or whoever tells you not to talk about it or acknowledge it when injuries happen then you shouldn't even be working there. Anywhoo, they look bad and they are not doing anyone anyone any justice.

Her whole life could have been ruined for a stupid attraction. Makes me feel sick. I'm really happy that she is safe (she'll be ok in a few months). I watched this whole video. I love when you just sit down and talk to the camera. I watched you since you were making videos in your college room, I've more or less grown up with you. My senior year of high school I was in a really bad car accident and went through all the same things. Instead of the nausea thing you are going through my meds gave me lots of heart problems and deep depression so I know how hard it is being in the place that you are in. I can really feel for you since I've been there too. some days were great and I thought "I'm fine I'm already feeling better" and the next day would feel like the accident happened all over again. You taking care of yourself is better to me than seeing a video from you so don't get hard on yourself if you don't for what ever reason. The fans that truly love you won't send hate and will only want the best for you. Please take care of you and know that you're not alone. Oh Elle...I'm so glad that you will recover from this horrible injury. Being around your loved ones will make that recovery happen quicker; I'm so glad you have your parents and Alex to get you through it. As for Blair, some people just really don't handle illness and/or injury well. It scares them and makes them feel powerless to the point where they can't really even acknowledge the gravity of the situation. I'm sure she doesn't mean to be uncaring...you're her sister!...but that's probably just the way she deals with it. You're in my thoughts and prayers!

I suffered heat stroke once and people around me kept shopping, I asked for an ambulance as i was losing consciousness and shop keepers were snooty. No one even brought me a glass of water. I was absolutely disgusted and enraged at everyone's behavior, especially shop keepers. Its like they were not even human. So, I understand where your coming from about the people working at that attraction. Oh and I fractured my spine when i was 5,So i understand that too. Much understanding.

My mom fell down the stairs in our home, and broke two lower L3-L5 vertebrae, broke a rib which punctured her lung, and she has internal bleeding in the left kidney. Kinda crazy just for slipping and sliding down three single stairs. Hope you feel better. A broken back is broken forever. It's a lifetime recovery

Girl. You are such a trooper. I shattered my ankle a couple of years ago, and had to have surgery and four casts, and it was the most depressing time of my life. I can't imagine what you're going through. One of the two paramedics I was dealing with, I could have killed her, because she was throwing around my leg (while my foot was technically unattached) and I screamed at her in the emergency room. Literally screamed. I would be so upset if people didn't help me out at that attraction. I made a video about my whole journey, too, and it's helped a ton of people, just as I'm sure this one will help other people who are going through this. Love you girl! You're great!

It would be ideal if she could sue. However, they probably had a big sign stating to jump at your own risk and any injuries are your own responsibility in order to protect themselves from law suits. I don't know how well that would hold up in court but I guess warning on their part could potentially dismiss law suits.

Good, I hope she can. I was wondering how significant the signs are at attractions such as this one. It seems as if these signs are simply a scare tactic so to speak. So that individuals will not even consider suing because of the sign stating to jump at your own risk, they will assume it's their responsibility if they get hurt. I hope she does pursue with a law suit. One, for her doctor bills and two, for the safety of future participants. So they are either forced to shut it down or they are made to ensure it's safety by the use of a harness and a bungee rope to slow down the impact speed.

Tons and tons of people (including kids) were doing the jump. He did the 10, then the 20, then the 30, and finally, 40 feet. It never even OCCURRED to me that he could get hurt like that. Absolutely! I watched it with my own eyes - hundreds and hundreds of free falls from 40 feet and everyone was just fine. And we take risks every day. This is just a risk I don't think we'll take again, I wouldn't be able to sign the forms without worrying, which for ME, means it's not worth it. He got to have that experience at 9 years old, he can do it again when he's 18 and making those choices for himself :)

Nurse Practitioner here - if your doctors told you that the pain medication, just one alone, is not responsible for your nausea, you may want to consider getting a different doctor. that is pretty much common knowledge amongst anyone with ANY knowledge of narcotics. So yes, it can be caused by one, and especially by a combination of the medication. Side note, the wrist things there :)...have been proven not to actually work. Physiologically they do nothing that would prevent nausea. The only thing they do accomplish is for those that work things up in their minds...they give someone comfort in believing that they are using something to combat nausea...and that can sometimes help when a portion of what is causing the problem, is mental. That all aside, I have had a broken back and disk herniations before (thanks to my job in trauma, and the people that I often encounter lol), so I feel your pain ..literally....I hope you feel better soon. Until you have had a back injury - people have no idea.

Registered Nurse here..... Wrist braceletes... they dont do anything but purely give people a mental reason to believe they are getting better. It is commonly known that medications like hydromorphone, oxycodone, oxycontin, and sustained release medications are directly related to nausea. It sucks, would you rather being nauseated or in pain... Anyways, being stuck in bed sucks. Hope you heal up soon :)

I completely agree with the bed rest part, how it affects you mentally. I fell down a waterfall one summer, almost drowned, broke my ankle in three places, broke ribs, an arm & hand, pulled muscles & also had hypothermia because I was stuck in the waterfall for hours waiting for the rescue team to get me but I had bed rest for two months, there were so many bad days and there's nothing you can do about it and I remember simply being sad some days. You wanna do so much but physically can't. It's good to have your family & loved ones around, it helps a ton, I'm sorry you're going through this & wish you a speedy recovery, stay positive. :)

I am so sorry! I have also been having some medical issues obviously nothing as extreme as breaking my back I just found out that I have a hiatal hernia and some other issues including anxiety that go along with it and I can definitely say that I understand completely about being bummed during your favorite time of year. Everytime I think about christmas I then end up feeling sick not long after so it kind of ruins it and I can't imagine being on bedrest that has got to be awful. However I think your such a strong person and to be honest I'm so glad you didn't show the full video of it happening cause i probably would have cried even the part that you showed gave me the Heebie Jeebies this is such a long comment haha anyways I hope you have lots and lots of good days and not so many bad and I can't wait for the next bedmas video! And maybe we can both find ways to make our holidays more cheerful!

Seeing Elle jump was eeryand made my heart sink to think in that moment. . She could have died. Not to be melodramatic. .. it really could have been her last moment. In my opinion, if you imagine the stress of undergoing a lawsuit, it's not gonna make her feel better (considering that she might already feel depressed, anxious and is already on medication)..in my eyes she's not the kind of person who would want someone else's money as a compensation, but wants to raise awareness that accidents like taht can happen :)

Omg Elle I'm so sorry! But also so happy it's not worse then it is. I've been stuck in bed since Feb of this year after a major emergency surgery. DONT PUSH YOURSELF!! I really hope all your fans realize this. You only do what you feel like you can. The rest of us will stand by and send lots of love and prayers. A lot of what you said about your mood is 100% normal. Just remember that some days will get super stressful and you just feel defeated, but it goes away. You WILL start to get better. I hope this isn't coming off rude, I've just spent a lot of time on bed rest & know how much it can suck. Especially when people say stuff like "oh I wish I could be at home in bed all day...ect..." It really isn't fun and it sucks. But you will get there. And plus, you have hundreds of thousands of people praying for you! I'm so sorry to hear about your back. You would think that an attraction would have been checked for safety. I certainly hope they aren't allowed to continue in future years. I hope your back heals quickly and as painlessly as possible. I have a PC and use Avast anti-virus, the free version. (It does work on Mac, too.) A computer repair guy recommended it, and it works great. I had problems with AVG and had to remove it from my computer, so I was glad to find Avast. I'm looking forward to your bedmas videos when you're up to doing them. 😊

Hi Elle! I typically don't leave comments on videos but I felt compelled to say that I am so sorry that this happened to you. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome when I was 16. I suddenly became very ill and never recovered. I had to stop dancing and since have developed arthritis which has affected my ability to draw and paint as much as I would like. I'm telling you this because I understand how it feels to have good days and bad days. Some days, I feel "normal" and can get out of bed and see my friends. Other days, I feel like I weigh 1000 lbs and literally cannot get out of bed. Sometimes my fibro flares up and leaves me bed bound for days, weeks, etc etc. Life can be tough to enjoy when you are stuck in bed and the rest of the world keeps going, but you are absolutely right that you are lucky you weren't paralyzed. Its the good days that keep me going, even if its just one good day a week. I have learned to enjoy the little things in life. Right now I'm learning to knit, which I can obviously do from bed. I also enjoy crafting when I feel well enough to do so. I hope you are able to find some little hobbies as well. This is just a minor bump in the road for you :) praying for a quick recovery and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Did you have to sign any type of waiver before partaking in the jump? If not, you could likely take legal action. That may be more work than it is worth for you but considering no one at the establishment consoled you or even checked in makes it seem like they were avoiding you in fear of the liability they now hold. Either way, I hope you get to feeling much better, Elle and try to enjoy your favorite time of the year even if it is just from bed. OMG, I am so sorry to hear you broke your back Elle. I have been behind on watching KZbin videos because of the holidays and had no idea what happened to you. :( When I came across this info on your injury I started to seriously worry for your well-being and how you are doing. I am glad to hear you were not paralyzed or needed surgery, but very sad to hear that you are in such pain and have to be on bed rest for 2 to 3 months as you heal. Thank God you survived that fall because my heart would be crushed to find out you were worst off. That jump gives me shivers just hearing you talk about it. I want to wish you a full recovery and hope your pain lessens and you feel better soon. You are such an amazing and fun loving person. To see someone that I have grown to view as a friend and get hurt is hard to bare. Try and relax and not worry about anything other than healing. No video is worth you suffering in pain just to upload. Take it easy. Just know that I care about you even though we do not know each other personally. Strangers can sometimes care more about someone’s health, pain and well-being than those they know personally. I am very saddened to hear you say you had people at that moment when you fell and broke your back which showed little care or empathy for your pain. It is so shocking and hurtful! I can not imagine how you felt or feel when they did that to you. That is truly a moment when you get a good view at who actually cares about you in that instant when things go wrong. Over the summer, I had a posterior spinal fusion to correct my scoliosis. I experienced a lot things you described (all the medications, holding your front and back so you could stand/walk, height change, hurting when laughing, endless bed rest), but I knew I had that coming when I went into surgery. You would think staff at places like that would have training in first aid or at least be aware when people are not feeling well/ injured. Even if its something small like puking from motion sickness. I wouldn't personally do something like that cuz I am afraid of heights but I wouldn't say the 30 ft jump needs to be ousted out of amusement parks and whatnot.Knowing that there are most risk involved (in free falls, roller coasters, etc), the staff should be more aware and not just brush it off like they didn't see it happen. Some times things just happen and I'm sure in your case it was no one's fault so the staff shouldn't be afraid of recognizing your injury like they are scared they would be blamed.

Narcotics will make you feel awful, when I take them all I can usually keep down is coke and crackers. Coke has cloves in it which settle the stomach, so you might want to try it. I hope u feel better, 2 years ago ( I was 10) I broke both my heels and had a double fracture in my left ankle 2 days before my birthday. I was in bed for 3 days, then got hard casts and a wheel chair. 2 months later I got walking boots and crutches. 3 months late I had to be very carefully and only wear sneakers and walk VERY short distances. A month later I could walk with sneakers. Another month later I could wear other shoes and 3 months after that I could go back to gym . Ur injury is worse but I am there for you. My accident was similar but the harness broke on a rock wall 30 ft up. It was also a freak accident and I could've got paralyzed or even died but I am very lucky I landed on my feet then fell back. Feel better 😘 you are in my prayers

My brother injured himself on a rock wall as well. He was on a practice wall where it's only 8ft high so you don't have a harness but there's big cushy mats on the floor instead. He landed one foot on the mat, one foot off and tore a ligament in his knee. Again, completely a freak accident. Luckily he wasn't bedridden right from the start but he wore a brace for several months until he had a surgery and had to be on bed rest for a few weeks after the surgery. Finally he was well enough to run again and he reinjured it catching a pop fly playing softball.
