Morning, hope you got your bolt extracted! That’s a nightmare, I hate it when what should be relatively straightforward jobs go wrong. The Kirdford shop is great, good prices too and the sausage and bacon baps are just the job. The only thing to watch out for is the fresh fish stall on Saturdays, ok if you like your fish but I don’t and I have to sit upwind 😂 Another village shop/cafe which may already be on your list is at Milland. It has a small indoor seating area too.

Aah, everyone’s nightmare! I recently put frame protectors on my Triumph Daytona. One nut/bolt goes through an engine and frame hole and is fitted as is. The other is a bolt only through into the engine casing. This bolt is to be covered in copper slip because of the dissimilar metals, hopefully to prevent what just happened to you. Good luck with the extraction.

thanks Terence. yep there's a bolt update coming Wednesday, but im winning, i suppose the joy comes from solving these problems and making it better through your own ingenuity. it sort of makes you more connected to that bike. ride safe.
